Because one fairly brief scene in the previous comic is enough to dub it "half" the content. I suppose, though, that the amount of content perceived is directly related to what one is primarily focusing on, so that speaks volumes in and of itself.

I'm trying to paint the backgrounds but keep my character shading to how I usually do. I just wish I knew how to do BGs without my colors slowly trending toward dull. I start with good colors but they always feel TOO bright at first and then they dull out far too quickly.

Heh, I know what you mean, that happens to me too. I usually end up doing a lot of colour adjustments along the way with overlay layers that I merge in and so on. I like the colours on this page though, I think they set the mood really well!

Overlay is a godsend. -A- I feel bad but pretty much everything can be fixed with a soft sweep of yellow.
