Winning the election for mayor isn't all it's chalked up to be.
It's taken the better part of a year, but Vancouver is back on its feet. More of less. Tommy's been no small part of that success, but not everyone agrees with what he's been doing.
Nasty letters are just the start of it. By the time things are finished this wolf is going to go toe-to-toe with the most insidious threat yet.
And his greatest advantage will be worth nothing against this foe.
Tommy once again finds himself in the soft hands of the V-town PD. And Jon gets a migraine out of it.
Don't have a clue what's going on? Welcome to the hunt. Start with the first book!
Great new cover curtsey of Diokhan

Again a very interesting chapter Sir. Yes I do believe that the fire chief will want to have a talk with Administrator Taggert about his extracurricular activities. I think he'll find that the Dalmatian can be every bit the Alpha that Griss is, when it comes to people messing with his "hunts".
I can personally relate to Tommy when it comes to being with his farther at this stage in his life. I been through all of the feelings that he has and will be going through.
Hmmm....
(a)Agamemnon, a biblical name.
(b)An old wolf who is a priest, a biblical profession.
©An wolf who wasn't very pleasant 60 years ago, an old wolf who
seems very racist.
(d)An old red furred priest and a red furred assassin.
No I don't see any patterns here.

Fyr,
Yep, I'd say the fire chief could make the Administrator cower if he put his mind to it. Hmm... Perhaps we'll see something from his point of view some day...
While I'm thankful I haven’t had to go through the exact situation Tommy is in right now, I did have something quite similar to it not long before writing this book. It's one of those moments that frames your life. The best way I've ever heard it phrased is 'It's like watching Superman die.'
You know, you're making far, far too much sense when with your line of thought on the red furred wolf... I just like to wish I'd thought of it!
As for the name Agamemnon, you're close. It's Greek. I ran across it long, long ago in a philosophy class. My classmates thought it would be a great name for a computer, I thought it was be an even better name for an overly pretentious villein who thinks he's smarter than everyone else.
And to get you thinking for the future... Everyone gets older. Everyone. Griss isn't the only one who's seen his fair share of winters...

I can't wait to read the description of that meeting...... *tail wags*
I have never heard it described like that, but that about sums up the way I felt when it happened. I have friends who think that I'm crazy when I explain how my dad went. Because I always seem to have a little grin when I do. He went fast and hard, with his hands wrapped around the throat of what ever poor being was sent to take him. There was no long slow "graceful" decline. The man who taught me that the world doesn't need a superman, it just needs man, was there and then he wasn't.
Well, I mean we do know that John keeps getting older but that dog should have plenty of good years left in him....
