Winning the election for mayor isn't all it's chalked up to be.
It's taken the better part of a year, but Vancouver is back on its feet. More of less. Tommy's been no small part of that success, but not everyone agrees with what he's been doing.
Nasty letters are just the start of it. By the time things are finished this wolf is going to go toe-to-toe with the most insidious threat yet.
And his greatest advantage will be worth nothing against this foe.
We get to find out a little more about everyone's second favourite police dog. Oh, and Amstys.
Don't have a clue what's going on? Welcome to the hunt. Start with the first book!
Great new cover curtsey of Diokhan

A little shorter then your usual chapter's sir, good none the less. It was nice to finally get some more background on Johns early life.
“I was at school that day when he went downtown and took out the only life insurance policy he could find that had a clause giving reimbursement in the event of suicide. Then he wrote a letter to children's services, and leapt from the Lion's Gate bridge.” “As far as I know his body has never been found.”
Well you know they didn't find a body, and I have never dealt with an suicide by drowning that the victim didn't change their mind and fight to save their own life. Perhaps there is an old and broken dog out there who would love to see his family, but doesn't want to shame them.

Thanks as always!
Hmm, you may be right, but this is one of those chapters that caused me to nickname this 'Exposition: The Book'. I like it, but didn't want it to continue on too long.
Interesting to hear that folks have a tendency to chance their minds after they have a run in with the cold water. I don't have any plans at the moment to bring around a Jon Sr. but you never know...
