Okay, so the original post: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12187167/ has the details copied below on these two amazing vehicles:
The Subarus here in this picture belong to my mate and me. The blue one (my wife calls her 'Nitiri') on the left is a 2009 Subaru Outback wagon, and the green(ish) one on the right (whom I fondly call Pleiades - anybody know the irony behind that name for a Subaru?) is a 2001 Subaru Legacy wagon.
Nitiri's license plate, btw, is ISLWATH, and mine (surprise surprise) is SKYWISE.
They're nothing special, well, beyond that Nitiri's got over 184K on her, and my Pleiades just turned over 292K last night. Yes, my Pleiades is well on her way back from the moon. I've owned her for nearly 270K of those miles.
In all the time and miles we've had our Subarus, mine only recently (in the last few months) stranded me for the first time. One of her fuel sending units blew a gasket, so it couldn't pull the fuel from the tank. Bleh. But really, after 289K plus miles, who am I to complain (overly).
They've been remarkably good vehicles for us, and while they have not been cheap to maintain, they've never been outrageously expensive either. And living in central PA where we do, having the AWD is definitely a boon.
