(sighs and gives hard look to Paulie, rolling on the floor and guffawing) Yes, I drew myself as a barbarian. And despite the lack of formal training at this time, *I* think it's pretty good. I tried various arm positions with the armor on his left, intending the buckler and shoulder guard to form up into a larger "shield" for charging. All in all, for a 1st draft, it's a pretty good piece.
