Description is as you see it.
Kanashimi's six paths all have to do with ice, so I didn't list them up there. Didn't have the space. ^^;
Sorry for being cheep and giving myself two swords, but having just another ice type (the most popular) Zampakuto just didn't suit me. But I can't deny that I love love love ice! So I sprang for another split personality and gave the one physical sword two souls.
And just so you know; Yorokobi's guard is a lantern. It has a light in it and everything.

you have NO idea how creepy this is...
this is an excerpt from the short story "Endings", by Garth Nix.
"I have two swords. One is named Sorrow and the other Joy. These are not there real names. I do not think there is anyone alive who knows even the letters that are etched into the blue-black blades.
I know, but then I am not alive. Yet not dead. Something in between, hovering in the twilight, betwixt wakefulness and sleep. caught on the boundary, pinned to the board, unable to go back, unable to go forward."
"Endings" is © 2004 by Garth Nix. First published in Gothic! Ten Original Dark Tales, edited by Deborah Noyes, Candlewick Press, USA.
NOTE: the copyright line is from the second book the story was published in. That book is called Across The Wall.
I'm gonna go make some Garth Nix fanart now.
