it looks pretty intentional, I don't really see any of yourself or your style in this, right down to the presentation, it's the same. I wouldn't call this inspiration, i'd call it outright copying. You're a talented artist, I would love to see some more stuff that shows off your uniqueness and your own ideas. This sort of thing feels like you're taking and selling RBV's ideas (especially on some of the others like this). I know you're a better artist than that, there must be more of a personal twist you could add :)
I did note the artists she's copying, I wanted to confirm what I thought, they're pretty uncomfortable with artists who try and make money off their stuff. And yes, I have taken a look, if she was just doing it once, I wouldn't have said anything, but this seems to be a trend that I'm not the only one who noticed: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/116...../#cid:74521483 . You're right, she has been doing it a long time, almost as long as RBV has been making these IAs.
Just the same, no one is on "blast". The truth of the matter is that this is what it looks like she's doing. I like this artist but I'm disappointed to see her doing stuff like this, I know she could do more of her own stuff while taking inspiration, it's not the same thing.

I've noted DapperOwl as well. I've expressed that I apologize for any dis-comfort i may have caused them.
That set aside, I'm going to have to say that you're wrong. While i freely admit similarities, sketches with a flat color and white background are incredibly common, as it makes the piece look more finished. I tend to lean towards tans and red, as does dapper owl, not because I'm copying her but maybe because yellow and brown are my favorite colors? Who knows. I know I do, atleast.
She draws incredibly beautiful, streamline bodies and faces, that are incredibly style-ized, which is what makes her work so gorgeous and unique. I'm a bit more cowardly and stick to what I know of anatomy. The only style-listic similarity is perhaps how we draw clumpy fur or hair, but even that is nit-picking a bit.
My traditional art looks vastly different than my digital art, simply because I have so much more control with a pencil and paper than a tablet. It has looked like this for years, while I would hope improving. I draw in the exact same style while working as a commission, or just for my own personal enjoyment. I've nothing to gain from copying Dapper in my free time, or while i work for someone.
And I'm a guy.
Thank you.
