It's been on for a while now. They're going after anybody who isn't actively attacking a certain FA coder. The fact Wolfy is a popular artist and draws rape porn only made them focus on him more.

I'm here to make friends and improve my art, so I've been trying really hard to not get involved. I'm more than happy to discuss this entire issue, but I refuse to pick a side.

No matter what I personally think of what is going on, it gives NO ONE a right to demean others. I mean, the whole fucking reason people are getting upset is because ALLEGEDLY someone was made to do something against their consent, but it's OK to demean people just because they either choose to stay here or have a contrary opinion? I just saw what happened and I kind of thought the same thing about you since you made a funny comment on a piece about their opinion on the case. It just wasn't the time I guess? He also said only certain people should care about sexual assault such as the. police, but I care like... I feel bad for the people that were hurt like that even though I've never experienced it. I met he was giving off a vibe that he didn't care about who gets assault, but understood. This is why I wanted to make sure.

I do not know all the details. To much drama to read it all, but at least need to say this wisdom. No matter what you do there is always going to be some opinionated person who going to butt hurt. Especailly in today's times. So you might as well do as wolfy said and not give damn. Do what makes you and those who are close to you happy. Let your true friends be in your life and the leave the drama trolls to blow their hot air, they will evetually crawl back under the bridge. In the mean time, do what makes you happy. I wish you and wolfy the best. My wife also was rescued from abuse by me. So I wish you and Wolfy all the best. Bro five for wolfy. May you two have many new happy memories to replace the bad. I had high hopes for the site when i first checked it a few months back, thinking i could find some actually shitty people there to laugh about, but all i found were people being called out for being 'cisgendered bastards', and them taking a standup comedian seriously on his comments.

Amen. I helped my wife out a bad relationship too. So I can understand where you are coming from. Hell him not drawing rape should be his or your desicion not some opinionated troll. Every submission and journal contributes to the ongoing debate, therefore the most appropriate way to show ones disinterest would be to not post submissions and journals about it.

I'm more interest in why everyone knows about this in the first place. What is wrong with people that they have nothing better to do than worry about who may or may not be in some part operating a website they frequent? On a regular day to day basis it doesn't bother me nearly as much, but lately with seeing everyone's shitty opinions about rape, etc, really brings me down and it's depressing to see so many artists I respected turn out to be just "rape apologist" douchebags.
People wonder why rapes don't get public, it's literally because of how negative and mean people are when it's brought up.

Well something obviously something needs to be sorted out, it seems pretty awful that some peoples lives are ruined because someone made a lie up about being raped. Someone can quite easily yell "rape" and the person accused will permanently lose all jobs and job offers regardless of the truth. Even after someone has been proven innocent of rape crimes their reputation is tarnished.
I understand that a lot of cases are real and are also pushed aside due to lack of proof, trust me I've been on that side myself. Thing is maybe we should focus on the liars? the fact that some people will lie to gain advantage over a person or to get revenge on them, they make a joke out of the people who were actually raped.
We need to look at this from an unbiased view point and look at the evidence presented to us. I always believe that justice is blind and that someone is innocent until proven guilty. From what I can see we only have two peoples stories, no evidence and yet people quite easily mob up against this person, shouting hatred and abuse at him. He might be innocent but we quite easily attack him over an accusation. To be honest this should be sorted out by the police, none of us should of been involved in the matter.

Well, from the information that I have witnessed, this is a very he said she said issue. It is completely possible that the person made a false accusation. Am I saying that's what happened? No. I don't really know what happened, unfortunately. :\ However, I know false rape accusations can damage people as well, on both sides.

If you want to believe the potential victim, that's fine, I cannot stop you from doing that. But please do not expect everyone to do this. As I have said before, I'm familiar with both the damage that can be done from sexual abuse and from false rape accusations, so I personally try to keep a neutral stance when it comes to these things with people I do not know. (I don't want to go into too much detail in public, but if you want we can discuss this over skype.)

That isn't really fair now is it? Their entire life is basically ruined due to someone lying. I'd also like to point out that I am on the fence about this, I don't know if the victim of this is either telling the truth or lying, neither do I know if Zaush is lying or telling the truth. I have no side in this, however I do wish she had taken this to the police although I can understand why she didn't since it's a hard thing for someone to do.

And that's understandable. From my side (and what i've seen), it's more of we hear more about females getting raped and not males (unless it's jail related), because since it's a minority in this situation, it's not real (have had this said before by others), and that society deems it laughable/weak/UN-manly when a man gets sexually assaulted by a women (even more so if the man happens to be gay, then it's "she was curing him to the right side").
But yes, everyone does handle it different, and in this case, you can say it, where as for me, even though a small portion is weary inside of me, I try my best to grow from this.

I've been getting anonymous death threats for a while now, all of them seem to originate from that blog, so if I get one, I check that blog to make sure they aren't posting crap about me again, and when I went there, I found this guy. Apparantly a lot of the people that submit things to that blog enjoy leading people into conversations and pissing them off so they can post something to furryscumbags. I've been contacted by several other people recently who have confirmed this.

Furryscumbags put me on their "list of furries to avoid" and ever since their white knights have been making fake twitters and sending me anonymous death threats. I had to delete my tumblr that I had for a long time, and am about to make my twitter private.

I think people are confusing taking a neutral stance on their involvement with the drama on FA and their stance on rape in general confused. I don't think anyone who is taking a neutral side condones rape and thinks it's A-OK. I certainly don't, but I don't want to get involved in the drama-fest. Even just posting that one comment has caused a stir, SO yeah.. that is the reason for the neutrality.

There is an unfortunate tendency, especially among more reactionary women, to treat anyone who doesn't want to be involved or isn't interested in the latest hotbutton topic as actually approving of whatever is being hated. I agree. I sometimes have a hard time relating to other women. But the thing is, people who are shouting at others like this don't really know that person's history or what they went through themselves. This doesn't seem like a fight for justice anymore, just ostracizing of anyone who isn't joining a lynch mob. So now everyone is accountable! It's insane.

I actually took the time and effort to read through all this "evidence" through all the links, all the points proving he "raped" her, yet I can only find it where he made her feel too guilty to say no, which she could have avoided by her own words by having nothing to do with him at all after she realized his nature. I know I would never talk to someone if they tried to do the same to me, seriously. But for all the "evidence" presented I actually see none confirming what people claim and only see someone being a serious asshole and manipulator, but certainly nothing else about what people claim was done
The only thing I really care about is the fact that he could become an admin. I read non of the drama-posts and still have pretty loose idea of what is going on. This picture I made in my tee break to let people know that I'm not interested in the links they send me all the time. Sure it turned out opposite way and these comments are full of hyperlinks... But the people who I was interested in, got my message.
Too bad posting this was only inviting catastrophe more than lightening the mood. Manly it's that too many furs perceive your dismissal of the stigma of the drama itself around the recent events as insensitivity towards rape victims. I'm sure you and Rotarr do care about their plight, at least from what I saw in her comments up there. Ok it's late for me, but I have one last say to say on this subject matter. It's called fantasy. Getting on artist or writter for doing a rape scene is like saying all GTA players are hardened crimals with strong since of violence.
