Based off of the story i've been doing, The Story of Cubone, which in turn is a part of a larger series known as "Pokeumans" (pokeumans.deviantart.com). Cubone - formerly Cassidy Rhodes - is no stranger to hardship or loss. And yet, he is also reminded that through the worst of it, he is never TRULY alone.

To be honest, I wanted to do something upbeat with Cubone, showing him with a happy expression on his face. The only one that is down is Jason, the sandslash. If you read the stories, you will probably understand why. But the important thing is... he's THERE. While working on this drawing during my live stream, I deliberately left Jason out of the picture as it would have raised some questions at the time. This picture definitely took quite awhile to do, even if the background on it was simple. The background, by the way, is a corner of the great hall; a domed structure with artificial sunlight in the Denver Pokeuman Base.

The one problem I had was that I just couldn't get Priscilla's face quite right. I'll do better on that next time!
