t-bone (who has drawn for me once before, also involving Cinnamon) has a nifty soft style to his artwork that wouldn't normally be my first choice for a scene like this with all the 'technical' objects, but the playful nature of it makes it work perfectly.This was intended to be a potential sequel to http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12211460/
In that scene, Rooth'roo is looking commanding, and Cinnamon is like, "You want me to do what, now?" I tossed a few potentials to T-Bone, and this is the one he grabbed.
So, the story goes that Rooth'roo had set up a mock macro scenario for Cinnamon. Y'see, she is not capable of size-changing, not even with Rooth's portal gun (long story), so Rooth'roo set something up to where she could play at it, and he'd show her the ropes. His intent was to use the Portal gun to match her in size, and stomp around boxes with her. However, he fumbled, misused the device, and shrunk himself by half instead. Then tried to fix that, but went half sized once more. Now he's in BIG trouble, for Cinnamon thinks his bouncing away and hiding is part of the game. Oh dear!
Will our hero figure out what he did wrong in time?

She's probably not sure herself. I mean, Rooth'roo was sorta showing her what it's like to be gigantic in a city, but he didn't really cover chasing. She's a hunter/shaman in her clan, so she's good at chasing prey, but then what's she do once she catches him ...

Well, I don't know much about the characters and how their relationships work, so I apologize in advance here, but here's how I'm picturing it (going by the description and picture):
Rooth and Cinnamon are friends, right? So, if she was aware that he's shrunk, it would give her more motivation to stomp through the box city just to find and save her tiny friend, which in result would satisfy Rooth as she's finally learning to rampage, but with good intentions. If she finds him, I would imagine she just gives him a big hug in the way she would know how.
That is, if she doesn't squish him by accident first.

We actually did sketch out a sequence of pics for this scene -- this is just one of them. t-bone may do one or two more in the sequence, eventually, if I can manage to catch him when he's open. :)
As for learning to draw myself: yes, I did actually attempt this, took a class and everything, but (a) I suck at it, and (b) my day-job keeps me so busy that there's really no time to practice drawing in order to get better. But the job pays well, and affords me the chance to commission others, which makes artists happy. :)
