I'm exceptionally delighted with this one. He looks as though he's about ready to swing, the tail a-twitch, the forward foot coming up getting ready to shift his weight forward into a swing. I also like how you addressed the helmet with the ears, and that uniform looks good on him.
I tried different poses, but they all looked too static. I like this one as it means the ball is just out of frame and he's about to swing. Will he hit? Will he miss? Will it be a home run or the last out?
The future is depending on his success in this single swing.
The helmet was tricky. I still think getting dinged by a ball would smart like heck on those fox ears, but you won't get injured by it. I bet there's more than one person who charged the mound after getting clipped in the ear like that though.
