Maneki moved around the kitchen happily, humming to herself lightly. She was making breakfast for herself and Luck as Sly and Pips had left for work already. "I can't believe how well everything turned out last night." the calico thought to herself as she cooked. All three of Sly's pets worked together to tell him how happy he's made them and to show him how grateful they were to have him in their lives. It was a lot of fun. And a perfect way to spend Valentines Day. The sound of yawning and light footsteps alerted the feline to her friend's presence as she turned to see the kitchen door opening. "Good morning Lucky. Breakfast is almost ready." said Maneki happily. "Goor morning 'Neki. What's this?" asked Luck noticing two heart shaped containers on the table. "Master left those for us. He had left them in the car when he came in yesterday and was planning on surprising us with them. We surprised him first. I haven't opened mine yet because I wanted to wait for you." explained Maneki. "For my special girls. Happy Valentines Day." read the cards on the heart shaped boxes. "What do you say Lucky? Want to open them now? We didn't get to eat any chocolate on Valentines Day after all." asked the calico excitedly. Luck eyed her box warily, looking for any sign of tampering or changing. The last time she'd received chocolates from Sly, she ended up getting more than she'd bargained for. Maneki obviously had either forgotten about that incident or had already forgiven Sly for it. Luck sighed to herself softly. Trap or no trap. May as well get it over with." she reasoned to herself as she and Maneki each tore the bows from their respective boxes. The two felines opened the boxes simultaneously and gasped as they beheld what was inside.
