Sestina, huh? That's an impressive form I didn't know existed! I'm fascinated by the "retrogradatio cruciata" diagram on Wikipedia.
Anyway, you pull it off! There's a definite refinement that happened between this and the earlier poems. Sorry it took me a while to follow up on it and sit down to read them, but I'm glad to be doing it now.
