Reflections are the best! You should sneak back here in the fall when you get golds on the leaves, before they start falling. They reflect really well in the water. If you do it very early morning on a cloudless day, you'll still get cool blue light so there's intense blues and warm hues in the ripples with the right angle. I got lucky and timed a couple photos about six years ago and ducks look like they're swimming in pools of gold and indigo! Yay for birdy birds (except geese, they are mean!)

VERY nice... I'd love to see a piece from you that is inspired by this! as for the coot, they always make me think "a swimming chicken" XD we don't have them here, but I love watching them when abroad!
