I was up until 4am and went to go give my blue tongue skink, Puff, a goodnight kiss like I usually do only to find him passed away while laying in his water bowl (didn't drown).
He seemed perfectly healthy the morning of, ate completely fine, only to die 12 hours later.
I buried him outside of my dorm so I can walk by him every morning on the way to class.
He was a good lizard ;n; Boyfriend took a really good picture of him: https://twitter.com/fur_murr/status...../photo/1/large
nnnnnn I miss him a lot ;n;

He was a beautiful baby boy, and I know loosing a pet can be like losing a family member. You tuck them in good night and kiss them good morning and go out of your way to feed those picky eaters. I'm sure you gave him a life full of affection, adventure, love, and magic, and that's the most you can give to any living creature.
I've had a similar experience, but with my Guinea pig,only she slowly died in my arms. She was her queen bee self as normal the night before and we got up early to find her half dead and fading. We think she had a stroke.
This is a beautiful tribute piece and I teared up abit when I read the discription
