Been meaning to post this for weeks and keep forgetting to. So I've wandered around hunting someone to do that perfect eye for me for a while now and happened upon a delightful artist for the job. This is a closeup of my dragon Sanith's eye, the rest of him of course can be found here, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12820762/ San is one of my 15 "god" characters who got that way by being born through a rare cosmic event in which some dark ever changing void of all creation sorta just spat out his soul one day and it attached itself to an infant. I wanted to impart some of that magical/mysterious/omnipotent stuff he's made from through his eyes since they're supposed to be the windows to the soul. San's soul is a very vast, very deep thing that gazes back at you from eternity itself from behind his eyes so what better way to give that impression that to make them resemble small galaxies?
As his story goes San evolved into a god as he grew and matured until I eventually just finished out his story and moved on to other characters leaving him behind as a main character and settling him down among my other dragons to serve as their king. He's capable of altering his form and isn't exactly a big fan of playing lord of the cosmos all that much so rather than live as a god he slipped away from the upper planes to hide away in the lower ones and simply appears to the rest of his world as just another black scaled dragon albeit one that's a good bit stronger than most and notoriously difficult to kill.
He's lived a long and eventful life and one that's tempered him in multiple ways to become the creature he is now. San's fought wars, lost loved ones, dabbled in planeswalking, bore witness to thousands of historic events, and at the end of it all, all he wanted to do was settle down and be forgotten by the rest of the planar lords so they'd finally let him live in peace with the unlikely assortment of other slightly different and unique characters that make up his family.
