Firebreath's Over-Sized Novelty Hat
Furnal Equinox 2014 - Pre-Con
You can put security in any kind of hat, and they'll still take their job seriously. Take FE security officer
for example. Here we see him in what looks to be
's giant, over-sized novelty hat. And as much as that hat practically blinded him, he remained unperturbed in his duty to maintain order at the convention (even though it hadn't actually started yet).
Once again, I have taken a break from practicing any artwork to post the best-of-the-best photos of my experiences from this year's
.
This year in particular was my third furry convention I've ever attended.

Quite the contrary. That hat used to be endangered. But then it consumed
's brain. And before you know it, the cosmetic-looking creature spawned another copy of itself from the nutrients it absorbed. The race of Chompeaus - a term on scientist coined recently before being consumed by one - quickly began to spread all over Canada in secrecy, unbeknownst to all the researchers.
Scientists didn't think anything of it; they figured it was just some online conspiracy rumor. They... thought it was funny. Nobody ever thought those creatures were real; it was a joke. But they let the joke spawn in secrecy for too long. The hat monsters kept gaining momentum, and by the time the numbers started to grow, so did the numbers of their victims.
And now it's only a matter of time before we become the latest fashion for them.
