I've seen EVERY Depp movie AND he's my favorite actor. The reason I say it's his best role is because he is SO believable. It's all about the emotional subtleties and complexities of his character. He completely transforms himself as well. It just feels like his most AUTHENTIC role. I don't know what it is but this film just really REALLY touched me. :)
