Cemetery monument. This is my first attempt with infrared photography. Post editing is necessary to remove the red hue and re-create natural colors, such as the sky.

Something you might enjoy. Takes some work though, mostly learning about white balance and dealing with the level of sunlight. You can get a filter (Hoya R72 for example) for your lens, and you go from there. If you're interested, I'll glady give you some detailed information.

Neat. I'd read up on infrared photography with digital cameras, but have never done it. I like how it inverts all the colors of the trees and sky.

Its very interesting. Takes some editing to get anything other than a poor, red image, but its worth the time. The most difficult part is toying with your camera to find out the best settings. Its tough to tell if the shot will be easily edited on that small LCD. :)
