I left this one long enough without submitting. Work's tough at the moment. I apologise to you all. ^^; This quick story obviously continues from the last one. (I would like to write out a full story when I have time)
"Bonjour Antonio! It's Éliane here..."
"Oh, hi. Did everything go well earlier?"
"Absolutely! The class was very productive... There were only just enough easels to go around. Sadly, I didn't get one for myself!"
Fortunately, Antonio's embarrassment couldn't be seen over the phone.
"I'm, erm, sorry to hear that."
Éliane's tone becomes darker and more husky.
"That leaves me in a dilemma, mister. I haven't got any sources of my own for tomorrow's class!"
"Hmm... Well..."
"I don't suppose you would happen to be able to come for a follow-up session at short notice?"
"It's rather late, isn't it?"
"Non non... I will make it worth your while, sir."
"Hmm... Do I need to bring anything?"
He wasn't sure why he was agreeing to this unusual meeting, but it sounded more interesting than lounging around at home, and that elusive eagle had already made quite an impression on him.
"Nothing but your fine tail!" she joked.
"I should be able to get there by about 11..."
"Merci, Antonio! You are a saviour! I shall be awaiting your arrival."
Somehow, she forgot to mention what else she had in mind... What a cunning bird... I guess it's too late to say no? ^..^ Tell me what you think of the style as well as the content if you wish.
