If raptors were to need to sit and work for long periods of time, they'd need a suitably designed chair, just like humans do. However, after a quick search on the Internet, I couldn't find one.
sabredragon said I should design it! And so it was done... and then undone again.
I split the raptor up into a number of vector shapes so that each body part could be moved and positioned independently, and then I built a supportive seat around it. I also posed him on a beanbag and found that worked better, because beanbags are cheaper and more comfortable, and raptors don't have a problem with sitting upright. So... Here it is!
BTW, Sigma makes a cameo appearance in the background. ^..^

I did a few pics like that while planning a Dinotopia story.

actually noir has claws so he has a special keyboard designed for him, its ergo style but the keys are slightly enlarged and sealed around each key so that when you click one your claw dosent slip into the space between the keys to pop them out and its made out of a strong polomer material so that its very resistant to puncture and scratches
Thank you very much! I'm pleased you can see the 'harmonious lifestyle' concept behind this. It's something I often think about...
Yes, he has a very fine sitting posture! Raptors would find this upright sitting position very natural, which is why I ended up ditching the other more horizontal designs.

An elegant, cost-effective solution for office furniture. Even if he's out sick and the substitute is from another species he/she'll be comfy too.
BTW the chair design looks like a good frame for a raptor's bike .... why do I see it hovering 10cm above ground with jet/rocket/ion turbine propulsion?
