Because punny title is punny :P
Unrelated to the pony list, this is just me having an excuse to do a fat Dash story because I wanted to XD
Enjoy!
“And keep off that wing for a month or two!” the doctor pony ordered, pushing his glasses up with a hoof.
Rainbow Dash sighed dejectedly as she slowly walked out of Ponyville General, it was even raining to add to her woes. The agile blue Pegasus had been involved in a midair collision with another Pegasus, fittingly enough it was with accident prone Derpy Hooves as she delivered the mail. The impact had sent them spiraling into the ground, and while Derpy mostly escaped unharmed save for a concussion, Dash had broken a wing and was effectively grounded for a month or two until it healed. Being the flight loving mare she was, Rainbow Dash was justifiably devastated by the news, it was enough to make her go full Rarity and swoon and sway in her sorrows.
“My life is ruuuuiiinnnned!” she cried, blowing her nose on a tissue Fluttershy had given her while the Pegasus stopped by her cottage.
“There, there Dashie” she cooed softly, trying to console her friend. “Its only for a month or two, you can still do things!”
“A month or two!?” she snapped “That’s like foreeeeveeeerrrr for a flyer like me!”
Fluttershy rolled her eyes at her friend’s melodrama and made her a sandwich to try and cheer her up. When presented with it Dash quickly snatched the food and gulped it down, startling the butter colored mare.
“Sorry, I get hungry when I’m sad.” Dash moaned, a short, cute burp ending her sentence.
“…Want more then, Dashie?” Fluttershy asked, hoping food would calm her more.
Dash nodded and ended up eating a good six or seven sandwiches before finally calming down and looking a bit more placid. Fluttershy smiled at her and got her a warm drink too; it was a cold day with all that rain outside not helping at all. Dash couldn’t return to her cloud home with a broken wing so she offered to let the sky blue coated pony stay with her for as long as she needed. Dash appreciated it and turned the couch into a makeshift bed to lie on, not minding that Fluttershy’s pet rabbit Angel would sleep on top of her blanket at night since he usually slept on the couch too, being the defiant, mischievous little horror he was.
The others all came to Rainbow Dash’s side as she moped over the lost of her flying ability; Twilight and Rarity with words of comfort and consolation, and Pinkie and Applejack with light hearted spirits…and comfort food. Dash did indeed eat a lot when she was sad, heck she ate a lot in general, her metabolism was high and required a lot of energy to fuel, and her constant activity meant she very quickly burnt off excess fat. But of course at the moment she was not very active and merely eating to ease the pain of her predicament. She developed a fondness for apple fritters and chocolate cakes and it was beginning to show, within a week of her grounding the Pegasus was rounded in the middle, developing a slight paunch from her inactivity. Nobody questioned it of course, assuming she’d burn it off when she did some earth pony appropriate exercises.
But that was the problem, Rainbow Dash wasn’t exercising. She was too busy moping and whining and eating to feel better to do more than laze around and watch TV, and it was making her weight increase exponentially.
“Mmf…nothin’ good on agaaaaiiiiin.” She groaned, lounging on the couch and flicking through channels with the TV remote.
It was two weeks after her accident, and Rainbow Dash was already kind of big; a bloated blue belly drooped below her, swaying and wobbling as she moved, a thicker plot and pair of flanks jiggled and bounced as she walked, and even her face was puffing up a little, with bigger cheeks and the precursor to a doublechin ghosting her neck. Her walking had slowed somewhat and was taking on more of a ponderous plod, not that she moved anyway, that butt was almost always glued to the sofa unless her growling gut and Fluttershy’s defense of the fridge meant she had to haul herself to Sugarcube Corner or Sweet Apple Acres for food.
Her stomach rumbled loudly, sounding its desire to be stuffed with more goodies, but she was too lazy to get up, slowly rubbing a hoof across its surface and feeling the fat part and smush from the touch, rolling and jiggling as she absent mindedly caressed it. Smacking her lips together, the lazy mare wanted the last apple pie in the fridge but her thickened limbs didn’t want to cooperate with her tummy, so she did the next best thing she could think of.
“Fluttershyyyyyyyyy?” she whined loudly, the pink maned pony poked her head into the living room quickly.
“Yes Dash?” she asked.
“Hungry.” She grunted.
“Well the fridge is right there, Dashie.” Her friend chided, beginning to slowly get fed up of the rainbow maned Pegasus’ lethargy.
“But I’m tiiiiirrrrred and it’s like, six feet awaaaay!” she cried, her crocodile tears act and adorable pout coming into play as she acted like a spoilt child.
Fluttershy sighed and went to the fridge, as much as she wanted to tell Dash to stop being a lazy lump and exercise and get things herself, she was too kind to do it and resigned herself to waiting on her hoof and wing. She added cream to the pie slices left in a bowl and presented it to Dash, who rubbed her hooves together and licked her lips greedily, belly grumbling in anticipation.
“Just put it on my belly ‘Shy!” she giggled, as the cold bowl was perched on top of her gut for easy access. “Now feed me.”
“…Uh, what?” Fluttershy raised an eyebrow and narrowed her teal eyes.
“Ya heard me Shy, feeeeeed meeeee!” she pointed to her mouth with a hoof and leaned back with it open. She was *really* pushing it now.
Sighing even louder and mumbling “okay”, Fluttershy took the spoon and began to shovel bits of the pie into Dash’s eager mouth, the mare giddily chewing and swallowing each bite, no doubt enjoying how lazy she could be by exploiting Fluttershy’s timid, docile and gregarious nature. The whole pie was quickly consumed by the doughball that was Dash, who belched her thanks at Fluttershy’s face and fell asleep, snoring loudly. The yellow pony’s face contorted into a grimace, she was at the end of her rope and finally, inhaling and plucking up the courage, she prodded Dash’s gut until she woke up with an annoyed groan-burp.
“Ow, what gives?” she yawned.
“Sorry Dash, but, uh, I need you to exercise tomorrow ok? You’re getting so lazy its beginning to worry me, and I am not feeding you like a foal!” she yelped, trying to sound authoraitve.
“Fiiiiine fiiiine just let me sleep, Jeeze!” Dash whined, rubbing her belly where it was poked violently.
“Thank you…oh and don’t you dare think of eating tonight when I go to bed or I…I *will* through you out!” she added, stomping a hoof.
“Whoa, fine then, don’t get your wings in a tangle Shy!” and with that, Dash rolled over and went back to sleep, Fluttershy confident she would keep her word.
That night, Rainbow Dash lay awake on the couch with the blanket off, staring at her stomach. The cyan paunch was grumbling and growling loudly, demanding to be fed. A hoof glided across its surface as Dash licked her lips and looked towards the fridge and cupboards, she wanted to eat but she’d given her word to Fluttershy that she’d not. And her belly did not like that, to the point where it visibly bubbled and shook from its own rumblings.
“Nngh, no, I promised Shy…” she mumbled, rolling to one side, belly sagging off the couch a bit.
It rumbled and gurgled again, making her roll onto her other side, this time her plot sagging off the couch a bit. Nothing she did could alleviate the hunger, and it was getting worse by the minute, small gurgles preceding louder rumbles as her empty orb cried out for nourishment, it *needed* food, and she was powerless to quell it without eating. After much deliberation, she finally snapped and rolled off the couch quietly, making sure that Angel was still sound asleep. To make sure he was she rooted through the room and conveniently enough found some earmuffs to put over his ears so he’d not hear the impending gluttony.
“Mmm, come to momma you delicious morsels…” she purred to herself as she plodded to the kitchen area and opened the fridge up.
It was well stocked with enough food to last for months, both to feed Fluttershy’s various pets that conveniently ate pony food and also to feed Dash herself. The variety of treats on show made her drool and her stomach rumble-wobbled more as she tried to pick what to eat first. She eventually picked some sandwiches and apple fritters and began eating them right from the fridge, the fact this was so naughty to do was making her excited, she was mooching Fluttershy’s food at night after being told not to but it felt, and tasted so *good*! With giggly, greedy glee she chugged down cartons of milk and bottles of juice stored to the side, and began to comp through salads, burgers, and ice cream, everything she could reach in her hungry lust for more food. Her belly bloated and bulged, pressing against the shelves of the fridge with a squelch but she didn’t care, she wanted more, she needed more, and she *had* more. Each item of food sploshing into her cavernous got sending it off on a loud rollercoaster of gurgles and churns and spurring her into eating more and more!
“Aw…no more food?” she gasped, genuinely shocked when the fridge was reduced to emptiness.
Dash leaned back on her plot in an upright position, her belly so big she could do little more than poke and knead its gurgling, sloshing bulk in contentment as she lay on her side and yawned, a squeaky burp escaping her before drifting off into a happy sleep…
“RAINBOW DASH!” Fluttershy’s voice screeched, stirring the sleeping glutton from her slumber.
“Huh…wha?” she rubbed her eyes with her hooves…which felt meatier than usual.
Fluttershy was *furious*, the usually harmless mare looked ready to kill a Manticore, and Dash remembered why. She was surrounded by empty food tubs, plates and containers from her late night rampage, and her body had digested it all into an entire new layer of blubber spilling from her frame; her belly touched the floor now, squishing against it, her plot and flanks stretched out from her like doughy beanbag chairs, and a third chin graced her face, cheeks also swollen up. She looked down in shame, feeling her newly formed neckrolls smush against her chest.
“You promised Dashie! You promised!” Fluttershy shouted, prodding her friend angrily.
“I-I know…I….” Dash stuttered, actually ashamed of herself and tears welling in her eyes. “I failed you…sorry…”
Fluttershy just sighed and shook her head, Dash looked honestly guilty and embarrassed at her own behavior, and too big to push out the door, so she couldn’t stay mad at her flabby friend for too long. She slowly cupped her chin with a hoof and raised her head to meet eye to eye, smiling softly at her and showing she wasn’t mad anymore.
“Its ok Dashie, I can see you really didn’t mean it…but you *really* need to either learn some self control, or…well, go somewhere you can do this that won’t annoy ponies!” she said, in as serious but soft a tone as possible.
“Th-thanks Fluttershy…b-but who?” Dash sniffled, belly growling as her eat-to-feel-better instincts kicked in.
“Well Pinkie of course!” Fluttershy chirped, “She’d find you adorable and this *is* only till you get your wings working again…right?”
“Right!” Dash nodded.
“Good, so uh…up you get flumpy!” Fluttershy giggled, Angel helping to hoist the blue blob to her thickened feet and help her slowly and pendulously waddle towards town.
“Oh my Celestia what happened to you Dash!?” Pinkie squeaked when they arrived.
“Long story…” she grumbled, her enormous butt sitting on the floor with a thud.
Fluttershy explained to the pink party pony that Dash was to stay with her until she was better, and that her ravenous appetite would be easier to contain here. Pinkie was more than happy to take her in and cited that since the Cakes were on holiday with the twins, Pinkie had full run of the shop and the house above it, and so could do whatever she wanted. She decided to give Dash a job to pass the time, and after Fluttershy gave her big blue friend a parting hug and went home, they began immediately.
“Okie dokie lokie Dashie, its suuuuuper easy!” Pinkie giggled, holding up a cupcake. “All ya gotta do is just, taste test one of each batch I make, and that’s it!”
“That’s, it?” Dash puzzled, liking the idea of eating as a job right now.
“Mmhmm! You get paid and get full! What’s not to like!?” Pinkie beamed, her own stomach rumbling a little. “Heehee, guess we’d both better test one ah?”
Dash took to this new job quickly, every time Pinkie baked a batch of anything, she’d eat one, and say if they tasted good or not. They all tasted good so Dash enjoyed it a lot. Pinkie also got a bit pudgier from sampling her own work too but it was merely a plumper tummy, as Dash continued to balloon into a blue winged whale. And it continued for weeks, and weeks, and weeks…
“Dash? You in there? It’s been two months, you can fly again!” Twilight called, knocking on the window of Sugarcube Corner.
There was no answer, and the door was as always unlocked so Twilight opened it and walked in, the bell above jingling as she looked around. Pinkie was humming to herself and cleaning the counter before seeing the unicorn and waving to her…she looked a tad, nervous though. Was she hiding something?
“Hi Twilight, what can I gecha?” she asked, smiling.
“Hey Pinkie, where’s Dash? I came to let her know the doctor said she should be able to fly by now!” Twilight said, resting her hooves on the counter.
“Oh, uh, sheeee’s…sick?” Pinkie answered, with bad poker face on her.
“…She’s fatter than ever isn’t she.” The unicorn groaned, face hoofing
“Noooo nononononoooo!” Pinkie shook her head rapidly. “She’s juuuust…sick!” she repeated.
Twilight rolled her eyes and pushed past her to go upstairs, finding the spare bedroom and knocking on the door. There was no immediately answer so she kept knocking, the only sound she heard from within was a low belch, so she just opened it and walked in…and her jaw dropped.
“Bluh…I ate way too much…sho fat…” Dash wheezed.
She was so big she had crushed the bed, a titanic barrel shaped pony who’s flabby body drooped over the sides of the destroyed frame like jelly, and who slowly looked up at Twilight with a guilty, sheepish smile. Her belly was essentially all of her body sans her plot and flanks, with legs thick and tree trunk like below it, and a cascade of chins resting against her chest as neckrolls spilled around and above her squashed looking head. In her bloated hooves rested an empty pie tray, and beside her lay the remote to the TV in the room, which she was watching. Her wings flapped slowly, so she was at least aware of her regained strength. Twilight just stared, speechless.
“Hi Twilight…uh...help?” she grunted, blushing in embarrassment.
“And one and two and one and two!” Spitfire barked the next day, having been brought in by Twilight and co as Rainbow Dash’s personal fitness trainer.
“Guh…can I…stop…please…!?” the blue lard ball wheezed, her sweat soaked body sloshing and wobbling along the local running track as she tried to power walk.
“No rest until you’re 20% lighter fatso, now move it!” the Wonderbolt captain growled, watching her charge jostle along.
The others all watched as Rainbow Dash waddled along as fast as she could around the track while they had a picnic, the poor pegasi’s stomach could be heard from all the way over there growling in protest at them eating while she was roasted and exhausted in the sun. She was even leaving a comical trail of sweat behind from how fat she was. It was like watching a space hopper with legs try to run.
“Y’all think she’s learnt her lesson?” Applejack asked as she took a swig of cider.
“I hope so, Applejack, I hope so.” Fluttershy said as she bit into a sandwich, Angel watching the show through binoculars beside her.
And Dash just continued her jiggling run, knowing that when she was done, somepony was going to be sat on.
