Because you should ALWAYS go right over to the home of someone you just met. ... Yeah, it's only a comic, but anyway, if this were real life I'd say make sure you set up some kind of safe call with a friend, so they know the address where you're going to, and if you don't call them by a certain time they're to check in with you and maybe even call the police if they can't get hold of you. (But this isn't real life, so I doubt Manda's going to be a serial killer or anything like that.)
