Personality: Contrary to his closest - and only - friend Tygressa, Ruskaer is not really headstrong and is pretty much a rule-follower. He tries his best to keep within the 'norm' of society, avoiding public situations when Tyg is at his side and only trying to stick in with the Sparkclaw crowd. He's kind to anyone he meets but most people know him as a Wingchaser, or a Sparkclaw who befriends only Longwings. Despite this, Ruskaer tries his best to be cheerful though he can seem pretty depressed at times. He's sensitive but knows how to handle his emotions. He has a lot of common sense as well as being quite smart. Ruskaer avoids trouble the best he can though he often gets dragged into it due to Tygressa's hotheadedness, where he often tries to diffuse the situation the best he can. However if a personal untrue insult is thrown, Ruskaer can get just as angry and brave as Tyg. However he usually is not, and just tries to stay on everyone's good side. He's rather shy when it comes to social situations as well.
Build: While a little on the thin side, Rusk is quite strong and is used to using his forelegs and hindlegs to move metal plates around all days with his dayjob as a smith. Like all Sparkclaws his wings are underdeveloped and he almost never moves them except when he shrugs, making his facial expressions probably the best way to read his emotions. Due to all the heavy lifting, his legs are muscular and he has lots of endurance, making him a good runner when he needs to be. (Which he does sometimes if he's being chased out of a cavern by angry Longwings that Tygressa ruffled the scales of)
Family: Unshown so far in the comic, Ruskaer has a rather tough mother that just wants to see herson succeed. His father died in a cave-in before he hatched.
