And here is one of two versions of my beloved :yuuki-cat: 's character Yuuki. This is her version before she met Karmal. No one you want to meet in the middle of the night, really. But she redeemed herself just fine in the last few decades. I will upload her most current form soon.

A mono black creature with hexproof doesn't even exist afaik, it's common for blue and green. If you want it to fit the colors, you could this card multi color or change it something else, something like "If Yuuki Bladewing would die, regenerate her."
You may change the design almost completly. I don't know the charakter, but what this picture suggests me, she hits fast and deadly, she looks really angry, too. Things that would fit the red color.
So it could be something like this:
"2BR
First Strike, Haste
{B}: Put a murderer counter on Yuuki Bladewing. Activate this ability only once each turn.
{T}: Destroy target creature with toughness less than or equal to the number of murderer counters on Yuuki Bladewing.*
3/2"
*alternative: "Yuuki deals damage to a creature (or player?) equal to the number of murderer counters on her."
Just a first idea, didn't think about the powerlevel yet. ;)
The old Yuuki got the single person she cared for murdered by a rather influential character called Mouna. She then started a rather bloody vendetta beginning in the lower ranks of Mounas Organization, but went far overboard, when it came to 'justice'. She basically spelled a death sentence to anyone who ever supported or worked for Mouna and became increasingly gruesome.
You are totally right with Hex-proof though. Shrould would fit her far better in any circumstance. (I didnt even knew the distance a while back *harrumphs*)
If I change Hexproof to shrould, would you deem her ok?
Yuuki seems to have typical characteristics which doesn't only apply to black (the killing, gruesome, reckless?), but also white (revenge and the desicion to kill everyone which belongs to something "evil") and/or red (caring about friends, but not really anyone else, so that she doesn't regret to kill these; anger). A litte hard to explain, but Wizards has its ways to design a card, so that they fit the color pie (the have articles about that somewhere).
You CAN make her black white, because white has some cards with shroud/hexproof cards, but often for a player and/or noncreature permanents. You can stretch it that way, if you want.
Hexproof/Shroud has something defensive, if you want to make your card more aggressive, you could change it to something else. You can even make the card Black-white-red, but I think Black-white or Black-red would also do it.
I even have a (designed but not yet posted, because I cant find a suiting picture) her counterpart. A white card that is designed to remove hexproof/shroud from enemy creatures as a tap ability :)
Giving her a piece of white is a nice touch though ^o.o^ I will consider that.
And yes, the consistency of feel to each color throughout all editions is rather impressive ^o.o^
