Holy COW awesome D:
He's like some crazy looking Robin Hood type fellow, but those swords he has are just plain awesome. Also, golden footie rings beat the crap out of any shoe any day :3
But but but, I was going to say, the way you colored Tarah is just plain awesome and bold. Your normal style is sorta pastel and light, but in this one she has this bold solid dark color to her. Markers must've been...

Awesomeness X100 with this one Mimi! n.n You continue to amaze me with how much you seem to be improving - both of them are so gorgeously colored yet cartoony and a little funny to look at at the same time! Tarah's an explosion of color - like a koalla just crapped a rainbow in my brain - but then Conejo's there to balance it out with a nice mix of colors that flow wonderfully (I especially like the way the dark green of his tunic compliments the yellow of his shirt and the minty-fresh greenness of his fur!) I have to say I also agree with Bae - Conejo does remind me of that dashing do-gooder Robin Hood!
Also...I think it's fair to say that my envy of your skills with prismacolor markers has reached its peak! I simply can't get them to blend and look good no matter how hard I try - I guess computer paper must not be a very good media to use. But you can blend like a pro! o/' Please, is there any advice you could give me on what to draw on or how to use them so they'll blend? I want to show you what I can do. Anything you could tell me would be VERY appriciated!
Anyway, now that my plea for help is out of the way - I congratulate you again on another piece of sweetness! Can't wait to see more from you!
As always, wishing you the best of luck with your art,
your fan and friend,
Ashy

Hehe. ^^ A technique I use is to always keep your edges wet. When color, the fresh marker on the page is wet: this is the BEST time to blend between two colors. (if the other is NOT white) This also means that you have to work kind of quickly to keep up with the drying marker. ^^ And when I shade, I just go over the previous color with a gradient of greys. =3
