There are countless worlds in existence. As countless as the stars in the sky. They are separate and except for rare pheromone never crossing into eachother.

Let's go to a world where creatures Of incredible powers exist. They are diverse and different from us, yet if look closely act no different from us humans. In this world espeically they live in a manner not unlike us at all. They are called Pokemon

They live in dwellings in organized societies, protected by the Pokemon Rescue Teams, which powerful Pokemon help those in need and if necessary protects eachother from eachother or other dangers.

In one region of this Pokemon world, a legacy of darkness resides.

Long ago, one of the guardians of the Sea , a Lugia became corrupted with the Power of Darkness and became Shadow Lugia, first of the Shadow Pokemon.

Shadow Lugia Plotted to turn the whole world into darkness.

One of his many new abilities is to awaken the darkness of other Pokemon with her making eye contact.

Thus he began making an army of Shadow Pokemon, most made up of forcibly corrupted Pokemon that were once innocent, some others are greedy, evil, and power hungry Pokemon that willingly allow Shadow Lugia to awaken their dark powers and join him as his Lieutenants.

In what became known as the Shadow Wars, Pokemon Rescue Teams fight the armies of Shadow Lugia.

In the war, the local Legendary Pokemon stayed neutral and allow both sides to fight it out.

The war remained stalemate until, a Charizard who in spite becoming a Shadow Pokemon, resisted the corruption in a strength of will, and used his booster power to defeat some of the Shadow Lieutenants.

His victories rallied the Rescue Teams together and pushed forward.

Soon some legendary Pokemon, seeing the tide changed started consider becoming involved with the war directly on the side of the Rescue Teams. It became especially convinced of the possibility after, Charizard gathered a number of them together and impressed them with his resolve in a plea for them to unite with the Rescue Teams, convincing them the fate of the entire Pokemon World rides on who wins the war.

With the Legendary Pokemon's involvement, the tide changed and eventually after a final battle, Shadow Lugia himself was defeated and was sealed away in a prison dimension crafted by the Space Time Powers of Palkia and Dialga, within a stone seal at the base of Shadow Mountain, a dormant volcano that was Shadow Lugia's lair.

The heroic Charizard remained a Shadow Pokemon and spent the rest of his life using his power to continue assisting Rescue Teams of the future.

Now after centuries, a new story has yet to begin...

On a moonlight night on top of a grassy hill overlooking a grassy meadow, a Meteor Shower occurred.

On it a male Riolu and a female Torchic were looking at it with awe.

"Man..." Said Blaze the female Torchic. "This is something you don't see every day huh Rio?"

"Yah it kinda makes me think of you when you use Ember," smirked the Riolu.

"Ah please u tease," said Blaze as she gave his neck a playful peck.

"Hehehe. You know it's kinda traditional to make a wish when you see a shooting star."

"Everyone knows that genius," said Blaze as she rolls her eyes.

"Ok what you wish for?"

"It's classified information Rio."

"Thought that's for birthday wishes?"

"Shut Up."

"Fine Miss Fiesty. Then I'll be a gentleman and tell your majesty what's my wish."

"Ok Sir True Blue what is your wish?"

"I wish to be strong, strong enough to protect what matters. I want to be strong do we can always be friends like this."

"Aw dude stop being all gallant..." She turned pouting hiding a blush at her face.

"You know it's true Blaze, you are like family to me, perhaps all I got...And while we have our shortcomings I just can't imagine life without you."

Blaze kept her pout with closed eyes, though her blush became slightly brighter. "I can take care of myself you know I'm not a weak damsel in distress that needs saving. Heck if I recall I saved YOU more then once you weak patsy."

"True...but the point is we are a team, Blaze. We should do as we been doing, working together. And that's what I wished for: for us to be strong so we can always be friends forever."

She opened one eye, still blushing and keeping her pout, "you know you guessed half of my wish..."

"What's the second part."

"That's still classified..." She replied her blush now brighter.

"Fair enough miss secret pants..." Rio said as he suddenly held her hand.

She looked at him with surprise then held the grip tightly as they looked up at the sky together seeing the meteor shower fall like rain form the sky.

"Yah Rio," she whispered to herself. "Let's be together forever..."


Years later, Rio became a powerful Lucario. Blaze a strong Combusken.

They spent the last few years in countless sparring sessions and challenging local Pokemon to battles. No matter what, the duo stayed together through thick and thin, working together as an efficient team.

While most Pokemon joined Rescue Teams, the two showed better interest battling and sparring, but occasionally helps Pokemon in need.

Now a local Pokemon Tournament is in session. In this world, these competitions are not unlike human Pokemon Leagues.

Pokemon get into teams of three and compete against other teams, to the finals.

The Pokemon teams fight in tag teams, which one Pokemon fights at a time, they can switch with their other two partners any time. The battle goes on until all three Pokemon in a team is defeated.

At finals all three teammates fight at once, and allowed to team up and combo attack with their teammates.

In this Tournament, it is being presided by Pokemon Rescue Team Leaders from all around. Some for simply entertainment, others to observe future team members.

The team Rio and Blaze is in is made up of themselves and a male Umbreon friend of theirs, named Sadow.

Right now they are in the Semi-Finals, Rio was up against a Scyther. Two of his enemies teammates were taken down by Blaze and the Umbreon. The Umbreon was defeated leaving Rio and Blaze the last two able players to battle.

Rio jumped backward to dodge a slash from Scyther.

Scyther cut into the air with his twin arm blades, and unleashed Razor Wind as multiple Wind Slashes.

As Rio landed at the ground, he formed energy at his hands to form a bone of energy out of Aura Energy. It's his version of the attack Bone Rush. It was long enough to be wielded like a staff.

He spun it rapidly in a windmill motion to block Scyther's attack. It succeeded as all the razor wind slashes were successful blocked by the manuver.

Scyther dashed forward, flying with his wings, blades at the ready to attack.

Using his makeshift Meelee weapon of energy, Rio ran forward to meet him.

They clashed blade by energy bone staff. The battle became a melee, as the two opponents dodged, slashed and smacked, and parried attacks against eachother.

The melee seemed even for about a full minute, until Scyther decided to change tactics.

He moved his face forward and used a Leer attack to disorient Riolu then used Double Team. About 4 images of Scyther rotated around Rio. One was real, other three an illusion.

Rio was still disoriented from the Leer and to him it looked like one Scyther disappeared in a flash and 4 more took his place.

Most Pokemon when exposed to double team would try their luck in attacking one of the images. If they hit an illusion, then the other images would take the opportunity to go forward and attack making it seem like multiple Pokemon was attacking at once when in reality only one was.

But Rio didn't leave things to chance, instead he closed his eyes and focused with the power of Aura. The four appendages at the back of his head rose up. With Aura he can "see" without seeing and able to sense aura of others.

With this Rio was able to perceive where the real Scyther was. Thus when the real Scyther rotated behind him, Rio stabbed his Bone Rush Backward right at the belly of the real Scyther.

Scyther was barely able to react and crossed his blade arms over his belly, protecting it.

The impact cracked both Arm blades and sent Scyther falling to the ground.

He got up growling and dashed forward. Rio smirked and went forward to attack with Bone Rush again, suddenly before his attack connected, Scyther used Quick Attack to dodge to the side, avoiding the blow, then dashed forward.

Quick Attack is usually used as a swift offensive attack, but Scyther took advantage of it's speed to avoid being hit then propel himself forward.

He then swung his ruined blade arms forward and used X-Scissor.

Rio used his Bone Rush Construct to block the attack, but the attack cut it in half.

The pieces dispersed and disappeared into energy. The impact sent Rio nearly falling back.

Scyther smirked and then attempted another X- Scissor, this time to cut his enemy directly.

But to his surprise, Rio regained his balance and grabbed Scyther by the arms, holding the blades back.

"What are you gonna do now Jackal Face?" Asked the Scyther.

"Oh this," replied Riolu as he opened his mouth and to everyone's surprise formed an Aura Sphere at his mouth.


Scyther couldn't move his arms as they were still grasped by Rio's hands.

Rio released it, hitting him point blank at the chest. The attack exploded and the fell to the ground.

He got up wounded, beaten up, and barely able to stay on his feet.

Rio ran forward and used Force Palm enhanced with Aura. It struck his chest.

The was impact was critically effective, the attack sent Scyther falling to the wall near the stands and fainted.

Rio won the match.

At the Finals, the last team they had to face is Aggron, Tyranitar, and a Sneasel.

Rio knew the Snesael, her name is Sni. She attempted a relationship with him but was driven away by Blaze, especially after finding out she's has a reputation as a local bad girl as well as a prankster. and makes her living as both a Rescue Team member for hire and a thug for the criminal underworld (which she's really an informant and double-agent for the law). But she kept ties with Rio as a friend even though she flirts and at times he flirt back, apparently fond with her in spite of her past. But nothing truly romantic occur went between them as of yet. They are currently just affectionate friends that meet with eachother from time to time to spar.

As this is the final match, all three teammates can fight at once and can work together.

As the two teams faced off, Sni winked at Rio and whispered to him. "Hey Big Blue. Glad you made it. Just because we are buddies and you are handsome don't think I'll make it easy for ya. I'm the one who taught you Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball, and Dark Pulse after all."

"You haven't taught me everything, Sni."

"No...but there's still things I have yet to teach you," she smirked licking her lips.

"Maybe...Perhaps I--"

"Hey!" Blaze Growled at them with a blush. "This isn't a dating service it's a battle! Get away from that floozy Rio! We gonna battle!"

"Haven't changed a bit have you Miss Flaming Feathers..." Replied Sni.

"I'm gonna burn you into a puddle!" She barked.

"Why don't we make it interesting how about we say winner spends 'special time' with Rio?"

"W-what are you-"

Suddenly the announcer commenced the battle to begin.

Sni dashed toward Rio.

Blaze looked to see the Aggron charging at her, and the Tyranitar facing off their Umbreon partner.

Sni slashed with Shadow claws, Rio parried with metal claws.

The two moved in a blur moving around, trading blows with their two attacks.

Blaze jumped back to avoid Aggron's horn attack. Aggron then attempted a headbutt.

Blaze countered using Brick Break, which partially hurt her foe from the impact.

She then did a somersault kick that hit under Aggron's chin, and sent him falling flat at his back.

Back at Rio's and Sni's melee, Rio dodged a Shadow Claw slash that grazed his cheek. It drew blood.

Sni licked the blood from her claw with a smug purr. "Mmm...can't wait to have the rest of you..."

"I'm not an easy prize to bag Sni."

"I'll be disappointed if you were..." She smirked as she fired Ice Beam from her mouth.

Rio countered with an Aura Sphere.

She then changed tactics by firing another Ice Beam but this time at the ground, freezing it around them. Rio's feet was frozen and he can't move.

Sni moved across the ground as if she was skating. She charged twin Shadow Claws to attack him when she reached him.

But before she reached him, ember fireballs whizzed passed her.

Blaze who saw Rio's predicament from a distance, fired Ember at Sni to stop her. Then fired some more to hit her with.

Sni countered the Ember with Dark Pulse.

"Sorry Rio, you know I love you but me and Blaze have to have some girl time. Be a doll and don't go anywhere will ya thanks!~" She winked and blew a kiss before charging at Blaze who dashed at her enraged.

Blaze's body was enveloped in fire, she punched and kicked rapidly with fire enhanced attacks.

Sni dodged and kept her distance while preparing a counter, knowing too well fire attacks are her weakness.

Rio chuckled seeing those two girls fight. But then focused on his predictment.

The Aggron, Blaze smacked down got back up and saw Rio stuck. Taking the opportunity he charged a Hyper Beam attack.

Rio maybe stuck but not helpless, first he fired an Aura Sphere while the Hyper Beam Charged, and sent it into the charging Hyper Beam energy at Aggron's mouth.

The Aura Sphere caused it to explode, stunning Aggron and causing him to fall flat on his back.

Rio then did Bone Rush, and used the energy bone staff to break him free from the ice.

He ran forward and brought Bone Rush down on Aggron's chest as he was getting back up.

It was super effective, since Bone Rush was originally a Ground move, which Aggron is weak against Ground Moves.

Aggron was still drained from attempting Hyper Beam and couldn't make a move.

Rio took advantage of it by first charging an Aura Sphere but instead of firing it, he kept it floating over one of his hands.

He then kept it floating as he used an Aura enhanced Force Palm, with the hand that held the Aura Sphere.

When he used it he grinded the Aura Sphere into Aggron's body.

Thus he was damaged by both attacks at once.

Both were Fighting moves, super effective against Aggron. Aggron fainted from the attack.

Knowing the victory is short lived, for only one of the three foes are down. There's two more left.

Rio looked and saw Sni's and Blaze's fight still a stalemate. He knew not to get involved unless necessary.

He looked and saw his Umbreon teammate is losing ground against Tyranitar. He weakened Umbreon with Sandstorm, and used Rock Slide at him
Umbreon used Psychic to Deflect most of the attack but some rocks hit him.

Tyranitar used Bite, lifted Umbreon in the air in his mouth then threw him up into the air and slammed him at the ground.

Tyranitar then charged a Hyper Beam to finish Umbreon off.

But then, An Aura Sphere, hit Tyranitar's face. It not only hurt him but diverted the attack to shoot safely away from him.

Umbreon looked up to see Rio in front of him. "Come on Sadow don't let this overgrown lug do you in. Fix yourself up. I'll hold him off but you gotta use an opening to stun him, you understand? He's strong and I just need an opening to take him down."

"Right..." Sadow grunted in response as he began to use Rest to temporarily fall asleep again recover health and strength.

Rio dashed forward as the Tyranitar recovered and began using Power-Up Punch. Rio deflected the attack with an Aura enhanced Force Palm. In spite of Tyranitar's greater size, the attacks canceled eachother out.

The impact sent Rio sliding against the ground.

He looked in shock as Tyranitar was already charging another Hyper Beam and was about to fire.

He barely had time to fire an Aura Sphere. The Sphere pressed against the Hyper Beam for a moment but soon began being pushed back toward Rio, with the Hyper Beam pushing against from behind.

Rio jumped at the Aura Sphere and used an Aura enhanced Force Palm at it. It pushed the Aura Sphere forward through the Hyper Beam and it looked like for a moment the Sphere would hit Tyranitar.

But then Tyranitar unleashed a reserve of power and it overtook the Aura Sphere and went through it completely.

Rio's eyes widen as the Beam head toward him.

Suddenly Sadow apparently woken up from rest jumped in front of Rio and used Protect to block the Hyper Beam attack.

When the Protect Barrier went down, Sadow used Confuse Ray to confuse and disorient the Tyranitar.

Rio took the chance to jump forward and used Bone Rush to hit him, then used Iron Tail and Metal Claw when it seemed Tyranitar was too confused to react.

The barrage of ground and Steel attacks was super effective, causing Tyranitar to faint.

With him down Rio looked to see how Blaze was doing.

Blaze by rights have an advantage over Sni as Ice and Dark Attacks wouldn't be very effective on her, but Sni is faster and more calmer then Blaze in her enraged state. She hope to burn out Blaze's stamina, and then take her down when she can no longer defend. In addition she had a trump card she had been meaning to save for Rio, for there was another reason why she joined the tournament to fight Rio to begin with. But considering the circumstances she might have to use it in order to beat Blaze and get to Rio.

Blaze used fire punches in attempt take Sni down. She dodged each blow with graceful maneuvers. After a few dodges she jumped away from a Fire Punch that slammed against the ground.

Sni smirked as she saw Blaze started to pant in fatigue. "Oh dear Blaze you gonna be ok honey?"

"Shut up! I'm better then you! Your ice and dark attacks can't touch me. And my fire will burn you to vapor! Not to mention I'm stronger then you!"

"If that's true why haven't you touched me? Yah in a battle of types you have an advantage, but that alone can't determine battles always and you know it. I'm calmer, and at moment smarter then you. And to as who's stronger...well...that remains to be seen girlfriend."

"Shut Up!" Blaze yelled as she fired Flamethrower at her.

Sni used Shadow Ball to deflect it. Then fired Ice Beam at the ground.

Blaze started to charge at the moment Sni began freezing the ground. She was so mad and hell bent on smashing her into pulp, she didn't even notice the ground becoming slippery.

She slipped and fell on her back.

Blaze looked up to see Sni creating long walls of ice surrounding her at all sides boxing her in

Sni, looked down at her from on top of her perch at the wall then jumped into Blaze's boxed space.

"There now we'll have privacy, so even Rio would have trouble seeing inside, unless he uses his Aura, but bet my partners will keep him busy for a while," said Sni.

"Shut it, you aren't fit to speak his name or be near him. You are a bad influence."

"What because of what you heard about me? Ok sure I caused some trouble, so what if I'm a bad girl. Doesn't mean I'm evil. Same as me being a Dark Pokemon means I'm no less evil then anyone else."

"What does it have to so with anything?" Asked Blaze as she tried to get back on her feet, in spite of the slippery surface.

"Do you know that in the Shadow Wars, there are few Dark Pokemon in Shadow Lugia's Shadow Army. Out of all the types of Pokemon that became Shadow Pokemon, only a small percentage of those Pokemon were Dark Type Pokemon. Those that were turned are mostly those who willingly joined up, few were forcibly corrupted.

"You know why? It's because Dark Pokemon already have touched darkness. Most were immune to Shadow Lugia's influence, especially those who learned how to truly manipulate darkness in ways normal Dark Type Pokemon couldn't.

"After the wars, Dark Type Pokemon got a bad rep whether they were Shadow Pokemon is not. Other Pokemon became afraid of the Darkness that empowered Shadow Lugia and his followers. My kind who wasn't even at his side were thought to be with him simply because, we are dark. Even today while the prejudice has lessened in time, the legacy of mistrust still remains.

"Rio is different, he embraces darkness, within himself admins sighing others. He accepted me without hesitation even after hearing my bad rep. He's my friend as much he is yours, ya gotta accept that lady.

"I'm special, I'm one of the few Dark Type Pokemon who learned how truly manipulate darkness. I'm kinda like Rio. As an Aura Pokemon can perceive, control , and manipulate Aura. I can do the same with Dark Energy. I can sense and control darkness the same as Rio can control Aura.

"Darkness is in everyone. Rio's darkness is strong and intoxicating, and surprisingly warm and comforting. You can say it's one of the things that attracted me to him. But I digress.

"I came here for a reason and I won't have you getting in the way. You know I never hated you, I'm glad Rio has a friend like you. But... Time to sleep honey." Sni said as fired Ice Beam sat the ground creating long icicles to erupt from ground and head toward Blaze.

The icicles impaled around her and bound her limbs between icicles.

Blaze's eyes widen as she saw an aura of darkness rose around Sni's body. She doesn't have the ability to perceive power but she can suddenly feel it, Sni's power rising within her.

Dark Pokemon don't usually have this ability it was the first time, Blaze ever seen such a thing.

"The Power of Darkness. Darkness is within all of us, but very few actually was able to use it as raw power. Shadow Lugia was one who had tried to master the power but failed and it forever corrupted him, making him the first Shadow Pokemon.

"Nah doesn't mean I'm a Shadow Pokemon, I'm simply a Pokemon who can access darkness while still being 'herself'. Darkness doesn't change who you are, it's a part of you, it's how you use it determines whether you are good or evil. Just like failures like Shadow Lugia got drunk with power and that's what corrupted them not darkness in itself. For darkness is merely a nature, same as a storm is a nature in itself neither good or evil and can cause as much destruction as good.

"Normal Dark Pokemon can only scratch the surface using it in their conventional abilities. Abilities as you know that have strength and weakness. Like my normal Dark Attacks can't really effect you. But darkness in it's true state....I can..."

Sni suddenly moved in a blur of speed, her arms moving so fast they looked like multiple arms are striking Blaze at once. Each strike processes unreal strength.

Sni laughed as she pounded Blaze repeatedly. The ice behind her started to crack from the repeated impacts.

When Sni finally stopped Blaze was only half conscious. Her vision blurred as she tried to stay focused to stay awake. With her remaining strength she fired an Ember fireball from her mouth to hit Sni point blank range.

But Sni caught it with her bare hand, focused dark power into her hand, and she smashed the fireball in her grip, as sparks flew as Sni crushed the attack that in normal circumstances can hurt her she laughed.

"Hahahaha! Sorry honey but your fire can't touch me now. As you noticed I argument my strength and speed with the Power of Darkness. That's only the tip of the iceberg on what I can do now. Like I can mix darkness into my conventional attacks making them stronger like so," said Sni as she fired Ice Beam from her mouth. Only this Ice Beam is different. It's now dark purplish black with blue outlines, the ice it creates is dark.

The Dark Ice Beam froze Blaze's body to her neck.

"See this is no longer a battle or types it's a battle of hearts and strength. Only a Pokemon stronger then me can beat me , and we were at par before my power boost so you are out of luck. Mmm..." She raised her arms over her head stretching as dark energy continued to surge around her.

"It's always so invigorating when I'm at this state, makes me feel so alive. Well anyway rest assured in not gonna kill you, just putting you out of commission so you get in the way. It's your own fault for being so damn durable and hard to out to Sleep. I'm really here to test Rio. That and having the fun to knock him around the block with me in my true power, which you gotta admit you'll do the same if you were in my position. Anywho....time to show you what a real Shadow Claw is like. Or maybe I should call it Dark Claw now. Hm, either way..."

She prepared the attack and drove it toward's Blaze's chest. Just when the attack was inches from her body, Rio came jumping from the air with his own Shadow Claw. His attack collided with hers and...they canceled out. Both dark energy claws disappeared, reverting both their arms to normal. It left a gap in Sni's cloak of energy as her arm no longer have energy around it.

"Ah, I get it, you used the same attack I taught you to collide attacks with mine, then transferred the energy of your attack into my arm, our dark energies cancelled out and reverted our arms to normal. Well done Rio I taught you well...so you think any different from me after seeing this? You can see how my Aura has changed don't you? Does it feel repulsive to you? Do you find me repulsive?"

"Nah to me it just seems you are stronger, it may feel colder and darker. But nothing foul about it. To me you are the same gal whose my pal. There's only one thing that's changed, this is a battle and you are in the other side and hurt my partner. So at least at this moment it makes you my enemy."

She blinked for a few moments then smirked and chuckled. "Guess deep down I always hope you'll turn out like that...guess I made the right choice in trusting you after all, you might actually do it..."

"Do what?"

"Later for now let's give those Pokemon a show, they paid good money to be here, and let's not disappoint them, agreed?"

"Yah let's do it, Sni don't hold back on me."

"Haha! Aren't we Mr. Smug Guy?! C'mon bring it!" She yelled as she surged Dark Energy to surge all around her.

Rio yelled as he focused in the power of Aura and have it surge around his body for a moment.

Then the two disappeared in a blur of speed.

Blaze still frozen to the ice wall looked up to see two blurs bouncing off the walls of the four large walls of ice around her in all directions, hearing blows being laid as they slammed eachother.

Outside of the ice prison, the crowd can only hear the blows Sni and Rio laid on eachother. Even the Rescue Team Leaders from their own private box were at the edge of their seats in interest, eager to see how the battle of the Final Round will turn out.

Back at the ice prison of walls, Rio attempted to hit Sni as they bounced off the walls in midair, with Force Palm.

Suddenly she disappeared. Rio stayed calm, closed his eyes, and used Aura to sense Sni attempting to use a Feint Attack and was behind him about to smack him from behind.

He caught her blow and threw her over his shoulder, sending her flying toward the ice wall.

She flipped and landed at her feet against the wall's surface. The impact was so hard the ice cracked at her feet.

"Heh can't believe you starting to keep up with me. But standing a chance against me, and actually beating me are two different things!"

She jumped off the wall and dashed toward him. He's still in mid-air. He focused Aura at his palm as he prepared an Aura enhanced Force Palm. As he drive it forward, Sni prepared a Dark powered enhanced Shadow Claw (which she redubbed Dark Claw in her Dark empowered state) and drove it toward Rio's Aura enhanced Force Palm. The attacks collided, surging Aura and Dark Energy between them.

The impact caused a shockwave that shattered the four walled Ice Prison.

At last the crowd was able to see the combatants again.

As ice fell Sni and Rio were sent flying in opposite directions from
the impact of their previous collision and hit the ground like twin meteors. As they got up and saw the crowd roaring in anticipation around them.

Rio drew his Bone Rush staff and charged towards her. Sni didn't make a move as Rio ran towards her. As he swung the staff, she kept one arm behind her back and used her other hand to block the blow with her bare hand.

Wren he saw the blow made no effect, he made some more swings in attempt to get around her guard. With the same hand she blocked all the blows of the Bone Rush staff.

After a few such attempts, she grabbed the end of the staff then brought her grip on it and crushed the Bone Energy staff from gnat end. The rest crumbled and then disappeared.

Without his weapon, he was wide open for Sni to kick him with a dark energy enhanced kick. He fell at his back and was thrown back up into the air. He landed on his feet, and slid his hands at the ground to act as a brake so he can stop sliding.

He jumped back up into the air to avoid a Dark Ice Beam.

He landed at the ground to see Sni Is inches away from him in a dash her claws extended to scratch him. He was barely able to dodge rolled backward to avoid the attack. As soon as he got back on his feet he jumped away a few times more to get some distance between them.

"Hehe what's the matter scared much? Well why don't we up the ante..." She said as she dashed toward him.

They continued to find hand to hand with Aura and Dark enhanced attacks for the next few minutes, to Sni's surprise Rio was starting to keep up with her dark enhanced attacks. Wasn't enough to overpower her but was enough to keep up.

After colliding a punching impact they jumped away from eachother. To Sni's surprise she was starting to pant. She better put an end to this soon.

"Ok Rio the grand finale, hope you'll like this."

She out her hands together and formed a sphere of dark energy. To his surprise he sensed Aura within it. It's an Aura Sphere mixed with Dark Energy.

"Why you looking so surprised Rio? Just as there's darkness in everyone, there's Aura in everyone. Just that Aura Pokemon like you have the ability to better manipulate them. But it doesn't mean you are the only ones who can use it. In my case I'm using Darkness to draw out and manipulate my Aura in order to use this attack.

"I saw you used this attack many times and figured out how to use it. How you like it?"

"Not bad but let's see how your Aura Sphere goes against the real thing..." He said as charged his own Aura Sphere

They both fired, and the attacks collided into eachother. After a few moments the Dark Aura Sphere proved stronger and went through Rio's.

Instead of running it dodging, Rio and straight on toward it. He channeled Aura energy into his palms, as he caught the Dark Aura Sphere with his hands.

Sni was surprised Rio was able to do this but figured it was possible because he was manipulating the Aura within her Dark Aura Sphere to be able to hold it off.

But still it was pressing against him, causing him go slide against the ground and he felt his hands burn from the energy.

Rio then did something unexpected, he channeled his own Aura into the Dark Aura Sphere and began using it to push the dark energy out of the Sphere, purging the Sphere from within. Dark Energy rose from the Sphere like smoke, as the Sphere became from purple to blue in color.

Finally he added his own energy into the Sphere. The Sphere increased in size, it became big enough for Rio have to carry it over his head with both arms.

He threw it and the giant Aura Sphere hurled toward Sni. She was undaunted and met the attack head on. She collided her Dark Claw into it, about smash through it.

Suddenly Rio jumped behind the Aura Sphere and smashed his Aura enhanced Force Palm against it. He did it to grind the attack into his enemy like he did before with Aggron.

Sni's eyes widen in shock as with the Sphere being smashed at both sides, it detonated and blew up in a massive explosion.

Blaze who was freed from being frozen when the Ice Walls shattered, stood with Sadow watching the battle. When the Aura Sphere exploded she was concerned but remained calm.

When dust cleared she and Sadow walked to the newly formed crater's edge and looked inside. Inside at one end the crater laid Rio's smoking body, at other end was Sni's smoking form.

Both were smoking and beaten up. They struggled on their feet. They painfully walked towards eachother. Each step for both of them was a struggle.

When they reached eachother they both smiled. Sni suddenly gave a wink and fell to the ground, apparently unable to fight anymore.

The crowd cheered as the Final Battle of the tournament came to an end.

Rio looked up toward our of the crater as he took in the sounds of his victory. Then exhausted from his injuries he fell and sat on the ground.

Suddenly he heard Sni whispered to him. "Psst, hero other here."

Rio looked down and saw Sni with her eyes closed as if she was out cold, but he knew she was faking.

He went close to her and listened to what she had to say.

"That was fun we should again sometime. Listen up you passed the test. I'll meet with you soon to have you meet somebody. But for now here's your reward for giving me such a good time~," she said as her eyes suddenly went open and she moved up to give him a hot kiss on lips surprising him. She brought her tongue in.

After a few moments she left go and licked her lips with a smile, then winked as her body sank into the ground and became like a shadow then disappeared, leaving him blushing and bewildered, and with a sense he kinda liked it.

Sni was careful in not having her secret power being suspected by others as she fought. That was one reason why she made the ice prison of four large ice walls before first unleashing her power. When they came down she was too far away for the crowd to make out her dark Aura.

Most were too busy watching the fight to notice anyway. Those that did didn't took much notice.

At the Rescue Team Leaders' Observation balcony, Alakazam leader of the elite Team Alpha looked with anticipation.

He was one of the main Team Leaders who organized this event. The purpose of this tournament was more then just entertainment for the masses as it had been years before.

The true purpose of this year's local Pokemon Tournament and other similar events that is occurring in other cities and settlements nearby, was to gather local strong Pokemon together and observe any who have what it takes to join Rescue Teams, including new ones they are setting up.

For the Rescue Teams are militarizing preparing for the possible return of Shadow Lugia, after Pokemon Psychic Seers saw visionary signs of his return, thus they need new talented blood in their ranks.

Alakazam strokes his beard in thought. He did sensed Sni's power but didn't seem bothered by it, he also sensed Rio's power and saw how far he is yet to go. He could just make a good asset indeed.

There's still one thing he must confirm, if it's realized then he'll consider having draw Rio into his plans.

The future is always in motion, and he looks forward on how this young Pokemon's might turn out...
