Under the grime of an $1800 boat headed to the scrapper comes a a shining Valkyrie of the waves. She needs some work still but nothing major. Had to bypass the indoor helm station, the hydraulic steering casing is cracked and at $500 its not worth putting back. The shift quadrant is broken anyway so I'm just going to remove the helm station completely. Opens up room in the cabin and it's not like I'm going to use it anyway. Also found out there is nothing onboard that is charging the batteries, both alternaters aren't working and the generator doesn't have anything charging it's own battery let alone the others... grrr.
