I posted this last weekend over on Maraschino's page 
but I wanted to make sure she got some attention over here on my main page as well. :) This is a remake of the first offical portrait of Mara I did, way back in 2009: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4406058/ to show how far my style has progressed and how her overall look has changed. Especially with my recent decision to give both her and Luthien more human-like hair. (Personally, I adore the new look. n_n)
Also, it's just been too damn long since my pink lady got to come out and play. I'm fast approaching 100,000 pageviews so I'm wondering if maybe she can help me celebrate the milestone by giving you guys a show. >u>
For those who are new here, Maraschino is my secondary fursona, and she's not bound by any of the rules that Luthien is subjected to as far as who she can have naughty fun with. I am not *currently* taking any commissions for full-background pieces but that may change once my queue has been worked down and I have more time for personal or semi-personal art. I know I'd be happy to see her steal the spotlight a bit more often. >u>
Maraschino can also be found spreading faerie dust all over SecondLife, as I have recently started playing, but info regarding that will be in my next submission. ;)

Oh yeah, definitely. >u> I used mainly colored pencil back then, and when I did use markers it was the cheap ones that streak a lot. I have since discovered the joys of Copics, they work wonders for blending and give a much smoother appearance to the work. Expensive but brilliant. :D
Oh man, they're so worth the investment. Even if you can only buy a couple at a time, you'd be amazed at the difference. They're also refillable, which kinda makes up for the initial cost since refills are a little cheaper and they'll last a while if you're easy on your marker usage.
I've actually only got maybe 20 or so in my collection, the trick is to try and have a good range of colors and then just pair them up with colored pencils to get the different shades of each one.

Perfectly gorgeous and more than ready to once again steal some male's heart... *chuckles*
I like her new hairstyle. Overall I consider it a good decision about changing hairstyles of your ladies, although I did like Luthien's previous one.
But in case of maraschino here it adds to her seductive appearance.
