Evil Twin 32 - The Patreon Pitch

Huzzah! It's the first new Evil Twin comic in over a year!
...and it's an ad for my Patreon page, because I'm still floundering around trying to figure out how to promote the fact that I have one of these.
Doing one of these was actually one of the stock promotion suggestions on their website. I figured it couldn't hurt.

I've somewhat deliberately tried to make the dynamic between Cobalt and Twinkle work in the style of a classic comedy duo. Think Jack Benny and Rochester, George Burns and Gracie Allen, and even Bing Crosby and Bob Hope to some extent. If you sit down and examine how those teams work, while there is a "straight man vs goofball" tone to them, it's not an absolute, with the roles defined more by attitude than by who sets up the joke or delivers the punch line.
Talboc and Pleasure work along similar lines, only with more Boris & Natasha, or Joker & Harley in the mix. (If you've ever read Batman: Mad Love, there's a sequence in there where The Joker is trying to come up with an evil plan, while Harley is trying to seduce him that was almost tailor made to be a Talboc/Pleasure sequence.)
The dynamic between Talboc and Cobalt is similar, but with a very hard delineation. Cobalt is the goofball, and Talboc is the straight man (I.e the victim of whatever circumstance results)
