While thinking about Bulgah's mannerism, he felt like a happy go lucky bulky dude who woulda wake up in the morning and smell the fresh air with a smile on his face.

and yeah, he will smell your crotch by natural instinct then backaway in apologize ahahhaa, im trying to write a connection between him and Sphinx cat, like a part time mentor or just a friend introduced by his foster dad who gave Sphinx a tight pair of leather shorts similar to his leather pants while explaining it wouldnt hinder his mobility like a loincloth can sometimes do.
He indeed is, contrasting Sphinx, he's a big loafer who's more interested in relaxing and enjoying the moment than resolving conflict or fending off intruders. He'll welcome anyone with open arms while sometimes conflicting with his canine instinct spasm. This does sometimes get him in trouble with people who have insidious intents yet he can handle himself pretty well in a fight, he just needs to be less lazy and clueless about such things.
Yep hahaha, Sphinx acts out much cockier than he should be while eventually maturing and becoming more serious after he encounters Bulgah (following a couple of suspenseful events -Incubus, Hunter, Cursed Tentacle lady etc).
He's like a youngly heroic type who takes on ridiculous tasks to impress his foster father and the rest of his tribe who often belittle him for being smaller than them.
He'll show interest in new things, cultures and such but has a strong sense of pride for his tribe which often makes him look overconfident due to his heritage.
Im trying hard to build him as well as im currently doing with Bulgah since its a fun character to work on, not a mary sue, but will often get away with luck, fail miserably due to underestimating his opponent or dominate his opponents with raw instinct/reflexes when he sets his mind to it, as well as comically react to the simplest outside cultures hahaha.

About tha tentacle lady, after the incubus encounter, the tribe notices many warriors aren't coming back from the hunt (for food), there are tracks leading up another region of the jungle which hasn't been explored by many but is rumored to have better growth of wildlife there, possibly meaning, better meat and food.
Our cocky Cat takes his previous victories as a sign, not of lucky he got, but how good he is and he decides to venture there to brave whatever is out there and save the weak ones who went missing (waaaaaaaaay too cocky hahahaha).
Little did he know, he would have the fight of his life against a Lady cursed with tentacle vines spreading around that entire area - giving a new meaning to the term "fighting on your own turf" as she is the turf hahahaha

Nope, she has a twisted complex of keeping her preys subdued and plowed consistently. Its her only pleasure since she is doomed to remain alone due to this curse. This developed her addiction to bringing the strong down a peg as some kind of revenge for her curse. Like punishing the warriors for being strong as she was cursed by a stronger power.
Before the encounter, Sphinx land on an uncomfortable scene where warriors are taking a hard pounding by the vines tying them down leaving a mess of fluid while they are too weak from the consecutive weeks of plowing.
Like some Silent Hill atmosphere hahaha something to scare him a bit and shake that overconfidence.
