After being forced to leave his job, Fenrir was forced to make money in every way possible until he finds something new.
One chance came up to him when talking to a neighbor. Their son needed piano lessons. Having an old piano at home, this opportunity was practically free money for Fenrir. "Sure, I'll do it.", Fen said.
There was just a problem. How to hook a child to playing the piano for more than once or twice? "Video games." Fenrir exactly knew the answer, "Who the hell could - with a basic interest in music - resist the nice background music games often provided? Especially music you can identify with! Music that defined the childhood of many, who wouldn't be eager to learn them?"
So he asked the boy "Do you like video games?" "Yes, I do!", the little guy answered with some noticable euphoria.
"Of course you do! Tell me your favourite game and your favourite piece of music there. Then, we will learn to play that, together. Does that sound like a plan?" Fen received a quick nod with a smile.
After quite a few lessons, he decided to record the play to further analyse it for things to improve. They came far, barely any mistakes have been made. "Once it sits, it fits", he evaluated, "it just has to work from the very beginning. And less key-smashing would be nice, aswell." Frustration often came up in the neighbor's son thanks to his fingers showing signs of their own free will. This often led to small outbreaks where key-smashing almost became a ritual.
"Just a few more times and I will make it right", the child said when leaving for home. "If the great fairy can give people magical abilities, she can make my fingers obey me, I am sure about that!"
