You'd think by now they would have earned their happy ever after.
The world is saved, the beast known as Brian is dead, and V-town should be safe. Tommy and Rebecca have earned their time. They've even taken that honeymoon.
But it's never that easy. The city doesn't stand still, and Tommy's already on to the next challenge, but he's still got his friends to back him up.
Brian may be dead, but some problems have a way of haunting you, even from beyond the grave...

Well it's good to see that Commissioner Oaks is back, and he got to see the light of day without an all out raid on the VPD HQ. There was at least one spotted canine who was ready to lead a large force of happy home wreckers to bust down the walls of that monolithic structure.
Hopefully Jon will also see that they need to increase the force's recruiting of other then canines from two very specific blood lines. The FD doesn't seem to have any problems working with a wide array of species.... the force shouldn't be a different except for their self imposed bias.
Now I have to wonder if Brian, will be less likely to want Tommy dead if he knew that the wolf was the first anthro to mate with a human and create a human off spring????? Perhaps that would win him a very strange and psychotic new protector. Or at least he'd be very protective of these two new babies, because they both hold promise for the continuation of the human species.

We have a order from Assistant Commissioner Able to search your apartment...... An order yes... a legal writ or warrant... no

Yep, Jon is working towards the long term goals for the force, but it takes time to change something so deeply ingrained into the culture of the service. If you keep an eye open you may see some good news eventually through.
As for the good Fire Department, I'm pretty sure you're right. Though I'm not too sure how the fire chief would react to the idea of possibly becoming human...
Brian is going to be an interesting one. He's around, but there is more to it than that. Though your suggestion to his reaction to Rebecca and Tommy baring a human child is on the right track!

Well that's good to hear, I'd hate to see the city of Vancouver sued for not being an equal opportunity employer..... Now that would be an interesting law suit.
Well, I know hose beaters very well and the chance to mess with the police is very tempting to your average Jake. As far as the human thing goes.... He risks his life every time he goes into a burning building.... At least being human, would be better then being mangled and in a wheel chair for the ret of his life.
