You'd think by now they would have earned their happy ever after.
The world is saved, the beast known as Brian is dead, and V-town should be safe. Tommy and Rebecca have earned their time. They've even taken that honeymoon.
But it's never that easy. The city doesn't stand still, and Tommy's already on to the next challenge, but he's still got his friends to back him up.
Brian may be dead, but some problems have a way of haunting you, even from beyond the grave...
Don't have a clue what's going on? Welcome to the hunt. Start with the first book!
Great new cover curtsey of Negger

Well that was another great chapter Sir...... Again I have to question about Brian, is he fixated on our lupine hero because he wants to see the scrawny wolf go to his eternal hunting grounds. Or does he see the potential salvation for the human race in this troublesome pup?
So will Tommy and Rebecca be registering both of their children as hunters, just like Griss did when Tommy was born. I'd love to see look of the face of whoever works in the registry when a new born female human is registered as a hunter..... Well that is until Gowna, Amythyst, Lilly and the rest of the hunters advise them that laughing or refusing would not be a good idea.
Well I'm guessing we won't be seeing much of Dr. Nesbit anymore, and Dr. Manson did have a good question. Why didn't they go to see her to begin with?????
So now that E is over his daddy issues, does this mean he'll be able to find himself a nice or perhaps that nice English lady from Horseshoe bay and settle down with some cubs of his own....... Ok I know there may be some issues with that, but he is an open minded kind of guy.... And if he did get around his other issues and settle down with a human, would their offspring be mixed like the Taggart children?
And speaking of children. Is there any significance to Tommy thinking that Molly doesn't smell pregnant?? Also the big lug may not have been in the lab at Edmonton, but that doesn't mean that he hasn't been effected by that force or others over the many years of his life. Plus with a little luck his newest pup will be able to meet it's half brother someday.
We've been watching the pregnancy and it's most irregular.
Amstys was a
hulking Adonis, his fur black with flakes if of silver here and there.

Thank you my good dawg!
I think Brian was more fixated on Tommy as he saw the wolf getting in the way of his plans for humanity. When you've been alone and obsessed as long as Brian has it doesn't matter much if the person butting in is good or bad, you just want them out...
Oh, I think both Ging and Beth will both be registered as hunters (the fact you remember that from the very first book impresses me), though there might be a twist or two to be seen there at some point in the future.
As for the two doctors, you're right. I've tended to see doctors just as petty and territorial as the rest of us. Nesbit was their top obstetrician (though in this case 'top' being the head of, rather than the best), and he beat everyone else to the punch when Rebecca became pregnant.
Nah, in this case Molly really is good and pregnant, in the traditional way. It's just too soon, and our good wolf is too sleepy to get his nose on straight.
Though, as a side note, I can only imagine how much fun Molly must have had getting pregnant...
And as for his brother... shuush!
Thanks for pointing out the typos. Now I just have to fight with FA to allow me to reupload the fix.

Brian, being fixated on something or someone.......... Nah say it isn't so..... I've never seen a mentally deranged person become so fixated on something or someone that they can't see the forest for the trees...... nope I've never seen that..... Well in the last hour anyway.
Why wouldn't I remember that..... That was right in the beginning of the first book.... And it seemed like a major plot point a that point to me. Twists... What the heck are you talking about..... everything goes perfectly fine for the entire Taggert clan... they never have any problems.
Actually I would say that folks become more territorial and petty about their little slice of the pie as the number of years of college increase.... Not everyone.... but it seems that a fair number do.
Well that's good, I have to wonder if that will help Molly and Rebecca become better friends..... Of course now they'll be able to schedule play dates..... and whelp day parties..... and all kinds of other things that young families do together.
Brother... umm.. err.. what brother????
