I've always wanted to make a more muscular female character and it seems that I've finally decided on the race. I do admit that she does look pretty generic but I like it, I've always been a fan of more simpler designs anyway.
The design is not really final yet. For the name I was thinking about Claire (since I've played through Resident Evil 2 recently). She's wearing some sort of training outfit I guess (also not final in design), not sure on the colors on it. I chose the lighter blue, since it is the compliment of her main fur color.
So I'd love to get some feedback on those things from you, while I work on a different pic that shows off those strong lioness feet ;P

I like the look of her - she strikes me as the sort of character that can pull off looking good in this sort of clothing all the way to the other end of the spectrum like a dress. Also like the big lip on her. Can't wait to see her soles. :) Oh and colour-wise, I would agree - blues and greens would best contrast her fur and be nice colours on her. I would just suggest keeping them as partly desaturated hues so that the colour isn't overwhelming, just present enough to be a gentle contrast.
Not sure about the macro thing, might just happen at some point. There is something coming up with a small Sprite in it though ;P
Her feetpaws will pretty much stay like this, so no change there. It was one of the thoughts behind her, to cover up another style of feet that is out there, that is not yet featured among my characters.

Wow, I know you used the term "generic", but she's anything but. I know you meant it in that "oh, well, she's just an anthro lioness" kinda way, but the build and design is extremely "realistic" and pleasing to the eye, every bit of it, and the unique pose is interesting and dynamic, seems like it's a snapshot in motion. I think the name "Claire" is fine, and I have to say when I scanned your text first I saw "race" as I said she looked like she was taking a break from a jog or a race, and I think sprinter would be a good sports occupation for her to have, or anything sports-y though. I reeeeeeally wanna see more of her! :)

Thanks for your comment though. I haven't decided on her occupation for now, of course it should be related to sports I guess but it could also be something completely different and she just likes to do sports in her free time, at least that would be totally unexpected X3
