Oh dear. This is gorgeosity of the utmost gorgeosity. One of the reasons I want to imrpove my coloring is so I can churn out work like this some day. You should be proud. :3

Problem is that I`m not proud at all. I`m trying to improve my drawing skills, because I want my art to be as good as drawings done by famous artists. I`m very far from that and I`m not satisfied with my art at all. If I want to earn money with art (and I want), I must achieve a much higher level for my artworks.
But thanks! I`m happy that you like my art, and I`m trying very hard to do my best. :)

I'm in the same boat, though replace the motivation to "character design" and you'll have a me. But cheer up, Lukie. We're both young and stupid and can make mistakes, which also means that we can improve. All the people who know what they're doing say to draw from life and study anatomy, and they're right. It works wonders for me so far, I can feel it. Let's both watch each other try desperately hard; that should work.

I`m young, but I can`t afford to be stupid. No way.
I`m just using animal photos as references, and trying to study anatomy. That sure works.
I will keep working hard, but I`m doing that for myself, I need to improve my artworks. And I don`t have so much free time to chat and watch others. My own problems are completely enough for me. Here I will just upload my new drawings every few months, and I`m answering to comments, because that`s just polite, and besides I don`t like when others don`t answer on my comments.

^Same about not answering comments. And I apologize for the stupid bit. That's my mom's fault for hinting her true feelings about me. :/
Anyway. Keep going, keep posting, and I'll be sure to comment. The pursuit is so hard, yet so rewarding. I look at the journal I'm currently working in and the one I started at the beginning of the freshman era last year and there's visible improvement. I've had more free time this summer than ever but haven't exactly used it properly. I'll try to post some drawings more often once my scanner's up, and I'll be looking forward to yours.

In summer there`s much more free time for art, because school and homeworks takes lots of time. It can`t be that your mother thinks like this about you.
And my scanner just broke, or more precisely I`m having some error messages in which is told that computer can`t communicate my scanner. One day it works, but the next just keeps giving me these messages, and reinstalling drivers for my scanner didn`t helped at all. I just hate my old, slow computer.
