Its an Evan again. For more on his character and species, please check the link below.

This is a more interesting picture. Through Evan's years of technological love and study, he has created a device that can allow a organic mind 'meld and manipulate' a digital system with just simple thought. For a full Dive, he can take control of all systems, setting up anything from the greatest prank to the most dangerous game of Chess except with droids and mechs for pieces.
Here was the information I wrote for it in Second Life for RP purposes.

The essence of the Dive Machine is the connect of an organic brain with a mechanical computer system. The idea is that the Dive speeds up the mental processes of the user to match the processing speed of the system connected to. The purpose behind the Dive is to allow mass control of a system without the use of signals or hacking codes. The user simply has to think of the goal they have in mind. For example: If the user wants to take control of a security system, it boils down to simple thought instead of heavy hacking codes. Once in control, the user can simply think about their next objective, such as using the system for surveillance or use attack drones for covering fire.
It is helpful for the user to have some tactical knowledge. Even though time seems slowed for the user, it is much like playing a game of chess. The user must make sure where and how to place their target goals to complete objectives within a timely manner.
The Dive's downside comes from the heavy toll it takes on the user's body. Because the brain's processes are speed up to such a high degree, the body must be able to provide the necessary energy to keep the brain going. Usage of glucose and water within the body is nearly quadrupled. For the average body, the user can last around 10-15 minutes of use, though the more stress and objectives the user tries to achieve, the higher stress on the body. Pushing the body pass its limits will include extreme fatigue, low blood oxygen levels, low blood sugar, passing out, and possible brain damage.
A possible use for the Dive could be the increased mental processes of reactivity to environmental hazards. If the user is pushed into a situation that calls for physical attacks, the user can simply activate the machine, using the increased metal processes to plan attacks and evades against a target. It could also be used in needed escape situations. The body would still suffer from fatigue, but the strain would also come from the physical actions of the body. This makes this method a much shorter burst, lasting around 2-5 minutes at max.
Such an interesting device... figured I would show what it would look like from his perspective.
