Thank you for including Tracks in that line-up! I'm not the only one that recalls that character, then; I've had a lot of people look at me like I'm insane when I mention that character, and insist that there was no such Autobot.

I remember tracks, he had that posh sorta accent didn't he? Similair in appearance to smokescreen too, if I remember right. I might just be crazy though x_x

robots, eh? is that skill set reserved exclusively for transformers, or can we expect to see other kinds of robot styles, like voltron-style 70s combining robots and the like?

Haven't tried much else in the vast world of robot stuff. Might have something to do with most other big-name bots being piloted mecha and such, and I enjoy the idea of living robots with their own personalities.

lol I was the hugest fan of the oldschool Transformers. I used to have a massive collection. Sadly, it was lost to me in the form of a garage sale when I was just a kid.

*swears for 5 straight minutes*

I got some of it back, some Beast Wars that I thought were cool. I got a near complete set of Soundwave (Shockwave? DANGIT, I always forget his name!) at a garage sale for 2 bucks. I always look for a nice deal at a flea market, garage sale or convention. At an anime convention one time, someone was selling a (not quite legal import) Black Megatron figure. 'course to me, 200 big ones it just plain nuts.

It saddens me to think that I may never find one of my favorite oldschool figures, Blurr, for a price that would make my cheapskate nature smile. Man, I use to have him... ah well.

It just occured to me, looking at this for the Nth time, that you based Optimus on the US version of Masterpiece Prime... the one that, for some reason, has short smokestacks.

That's some pretty cool detail on Optimus, down to the area inside his uh, window pecs. Oddly enough, in some ways this is better than the stuff you usually do. It doesnt have anywhere near the personality, but the linework is pretty intense, and all props to the mountain in the background. That and the extreme perspective.

Very awesome pic. I've really been digging the Alternators line, most of the characters fit, except for Grimlock and Shockwave.

Now if only VW would allow Hasbro the license for a new Beetle Bumblebee.

I have to admit that that is some amazing work. Seeing the Alternaotr Grimlock in there would have been cool too, but I can live without that.

Great picture, very detailed. I just spent the last couple weeks watchign the entire 1984 transformers series along with the epic movie. I can now pick out many of the Autobots in that scnene other than optimus (as everyone knows him if they've even heard of transformers). Such as Bumblebee (I think) on the far right at the bottom.

I am fortunate that I still have ALL my transformer toys of my youth. Some in better shape than others (Hey, I was young) but all treasured.
Even though I have Optimus Prime I never found a Megatron in the stores growing up to get.
I haven't looked yet but... by ANY chance have you done one with Megatron and his followers? (A reverse picture) If not... can you PLEASE do one? :)

Oh, and thanks for adding Hound. He was one of my fav's next to Prime, Mirage and Bumblebee. (Though oddly most wonder who Hound is.)

My fav memory is the transformation races my brother and I would have where we'd see who could transform what transformers the fastest WITHOUT reading the instructions first when we first got them. Got some fun times that way. :) (Of course I always won... *grin*)

Biggest fan of Transformers I love the original show and have it on DVD (he he) and have watched all versions except the weird japanese version they did (I think 2-3 years ago) and read the comics whenever I can find them the only show I haven't watched is the transformers animated (no cable sob!) does anybody know if it's on youtube or hulu yet?
