Close, but not quite. It is opening and closing something, but not my blinds. I tend to keep them shut all the time since they don't work right. The real clue in this is that I live in the country, and what is there a lot of in the country other than moonshine and hicks?

Yes! It will control the door to a chicken coop so my friend doesn't have to open and close the door for them every night and early morning. It's a long process but definitely a good place for me to start learning to code. I don't learn too well by doing the regular "hello world" type projects that everybody does, so I have to wait for the opportunity to start a project involving what I'm wanting to learn if I want to remember it for more than a few minutes. This is also the first time I've ever played with relay logic circuits, so I'm also learning that along with everything else.

Well, make sure you put a limiter on it so it dosn't turn into a kind of revolving door/chicken launcher.

I can't agree more. He always seems to go mad half way through his videos and he also holds several world records. Some of the funniest things I have ever seen came from him, so be sure to look at his other videos. I just can't stop once I start watching.

I've been programming my Lego mindstorms NXT since I was 7 or 8 but that uses labview. I wanted to try learning text based programming, and so here I am. I think I might stick with it and keep developing but I doubt I will be able to learn enough about it to make a career from it.

I can't stand sitting at a desk for too long so I'm going for sUAV manufacture. I've already built one which you can see in my submissions but it has some issues that are keeping it grounded for the moment.
