Yeah and in a way they are always eith me. Because people say a spine is what gives you courage and my animals have helped me overcome alot of my fears and anxieties I thought my spine would be the perfect place for them because they have always helped me stand strong as nd tall no matter how rough my life had gotten

I haven't had all of them yet but I currently have 2 cats and three ferrets and im having my first dog's collar tattooed around my thought like a garter just above my surgery scar because she helped me walk before I had the ability to and my right leg is the one that got operated on first :)

Yeah :) the way I see it, your body is your story and I want my tattoos to reflect that :) that I'm not sorry about my surgeries because they are what gave me the ability to walk properly for the very first time 2 years ago and my dog was with me ever since I was a little kid with deformed legs and helped me walk and was there until just after my very first surgery when u was out of my wheel chaor and i was in a walker (she held out just long enough for me to use my walker and take her for one last walk like i promesed every day when i was in my chair) and so I want her colar to be over the scar from that first surgery on my right leg

You were born with deformed legs too? I didn't have a dog to help me through that tough time. It was back when I was very young. :3 But I'm sure your dog would be honored very well! With all she did for you its a nice gift.

Thank you :D I was born with a VERY severe case of knock knees and couldnt get it fixed until almost 3 years ago bit ive been out of my wheel chair for a year and a half :)

Aww you poor thing!! I just had an odd defect of my legs getting pushed up so they're basically touching my shoulders! I don't remember any surgery but because of it I can put my legs behind my head. :D
