They're magic users, mainly forms of arcane magicks that are hard to handle and tend to destroy users. The rune markings you see on the first one and on the green one are markings that have appeared due to overuse of magicks and loss of ones soul. The magic soon takes over the host, causing them to lose their mind and become a deity to the god of the magic they're using.

For example, the first one, my character, uses a form of divine/holy/light magic, and the markings are white and slowly overtaking his mind and body. Markings on the wings aren't too bad, but when they spread to the body and arms is when it's becoming an abused power.

The last one is a clear base of what I would be drawing from!!! Basically the three pictured are examples.. They can have...
- A set of four wings is default, less wings means they've been lost (ripped off) max is six. (less and more are rare)
- rune markings from magic abuse (markings are rare)
- tail tassels aren't rare, and there can be up to four in total
- extra feathery tendrils off the head, similar to the ears
- feather amount on tail end and base vary
- glowing stones on tail vary in size and amount (stones can appear elsewhere on body, but are rare)
- magic users by birth, but need to refine the skill (some don't tap into their magical abilites at all)


I've been working on these for a while, but I think I've finally gotten a good base design down for them!
