I really love this picture because it shows that it's not all happiness and romance between the two trogons. The artwork provides a depth of character, where Ria gets mad at Jay for allowing the rainwater to come through and soak their nest.

For Manu and Kalena, I know I always commission such "happy" and "romantic" pieces. I have given it some considerable thought on whether I should commission a piece where Kalena is angry at Manu, or where both birds are mad at each other. Such a picture would show depth in the characters. However, part of me does not have the heart to ask for such a commission. I would hate to see Kalena be mad with Manu on anything (and likewise with Manu being made with Kalena).

After seeing your beautiful piece of an angry Ria looking upset at a bewildered Jay, I may have to think about a situation where the birds got mad/angry with each other. Heh!

Yup, not all the time there will be humor and joy. The story will be interesting if such short arguments occur. This will make them know more to each other just like Manu and Kalena have. Kalena know about Manu, and Manu also know the same thing.
