Have I commented on Mutation on every one of my comments? I think I may have. Despite being a totally messed up I suspect he must be my favorite character outside of Elliot. When I thought I had him figured out you go and give more insight into his mind. I guess he's not a sociopathic monster. He just acts like one. Maybe this could all have been avoided if everything wasn't being drowned in secrecy.
And I gotta say... I think you're getting to the bit we've all been waiting for: getting out of that city and seeing more giants!
