Species Info:

Anglagons came to be through weary Eastern Dragons falling into a magical sea called "Ara." The sea itself gave off an illusion of endlessness, trapping the dragons, and giving them nowhere to land. The illusion was unpredictable, and Ara was often safe to cross. This made it easy to set the trap. When the dragons fell, instead of drowning, the Ara traded their ability to fly for water breathing, and they were unable to escape.

Ara was barren, and the only food could be found in the darkest depths, massive schools of tiny silver fish, hardly a good meal, and an exotic species of Angler fish. Anglers were the prized meal, as they were both filling and easy to catch, glowing so vibrantly. Over many many years, consuming the fish of the magical sea, they began to show physical changes. Their bodies shrunk, angler orbs appeared and glowed to attract the tiny fish. Their massive bestial dragon bodies became as small and lean as greyhounds, and they mastered the sea.

Centuries later, a shift in magic occurred throughout the land, and Ara lost it's power. It began to fill with many types of species, and it was fished by humans, elves, and the many other races inhabiting the land. Anglagons lost the ability to breathe water, gained their ability to fly, but retained their physical appearance. They came to the surface in droves, many of them rescued by fishermen. They became the pets and companions of many adventurers, and finally escaped their sea-like prison.

TO USE THE FILES:

2. I highly recommend Paint Tool SAI as the luminosity/glow settings work the best on that program as far as I've seen.

3. If you don't want to use the other pieces/multiple layers, I've provided base lineart below as well. ^w^
