i really do not like the otaku nonesense i hate the japanese voices i like my cartoons dubbed in english i do not go kawaii over stupid things and glomp people i am a bitter dark depressing man with a very cynical mind...besides i feel more connected to western style...but thanks for the support and thoughts...

I noticed that too. As much as I love anime, I enjoy the stuff that comes from our side of the pacific (I can't get enough of Chowder and Flapjack, but those are geared towards the younger demographic I think.) It seems like more and more american cartoons are being laced with an anime like style. I guess since anime is becoming more and more popular and accepted here, the animators are thinking, "Hey this must be really goos stuff, maybe we should try it." And boom, you have an american cartoon that looks like it came from Japan. There's nothing wrong with that, but we do need to stick with our own style.
