OK, this isn't really furry related, but I thought you guys might like to see some of my wearable work.
A pendant commission for fruitbowlmassacre on DA. This one took me a little while. I fought with the colors some, and finally decided that for it to look as I'd meant it to, I'd have to gold leaf the gears. (the paint just wasn't bright enough).
There then ensued an insane several-day tearing apart of the house that turned into some kind of cleaning festival. I DID finally find my gold leaf, but only after sorting through any number of boxes and throwing away at least two trashbags worth of crap. GOOD TIMES.

*cackles* Sounds like me when I'm collecting stuff together for a prop-piece... The apartment looks like a bomb-hit it for a couple of days, then the cleaning takes over... This is a very cool bit of neatness- it would go wonderfully with my leather flight-cap and a pair of funky goggles (I'd wear it as a pin on the cap).
That's pretty much incredibly incredible. I always feel like a douche commenting on things that already have so many, but I just have to point out that you did excellently on this.
The oxidized look to the coppery heart? Fantastic detail. I cannot get over any part of this, heh.
I'm curious how large it is IRL, it looks quite small from the photo.
