~ My faith is my own. It was assembled from the shards of others and pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, using the fragments that had form, that made sense, to create something new, yet still ancient. Basic. Untarnished by those who would abuse it as has been done to others throughout the ages.
It is my own and in it, I have faith. ~

Once again, this was suppose to be a simple pin-up. *heavy sigh* Could someone teach me how to do simple?
A hog-pog of elements from different cultures. She's suppose to be an arctic fox. I'll try better next time.
Yeah I know, not a full lotus.
only one thing that REALLY bugs me. Guess what it is.
I'll be picking at her for a few days so I'm still open for critique and suggestions.
I'll try for a better photo, it's a bit blury.

I feel like I don't get to comment on your work enough, though I enjoy each of your submissions :) It can be so helpful to have some critique, so I looked at this for a while to think of something to help! I need to say that your fur shading, especially around her throat and belly, is stunning. I get such a plush feeling! One thing I think could be added is some slight yellow shading/coloring to the edges of the moon phases. Just so it doesn't look so delineated and graphic (unless you want that feeling!). But that is minor and very subjective :) You did a lovely job with her!
And that's just bull. Look at her again. The zig-zag from her forehead gem to her arm band, to the wrist band, goes right through the high point of the melted wax at the base o the candle on the next pass. Each pass gets shallower and wider -- damnedest composition element I can remember from decades of study -- Degas and Lautrec used it a lot, especially with dancers. If the candle was a half-inch (scale; how big is she, anyway?) toward stage-right, it would throw off the dynamic completely. This is why I couldn't see your perceived imperfection. Thanks to Bill Handler, the Art teacher who beat this element into my head forty years or so ago.
Besides, the other objects in the ring aren't perfectly aligned -- as you've said, she's making it up as she goes.
