Honestly, I think it's a good suspense strategy. For all the anime that I watch, they always leave you with a cliffhanger at the end of a series and then you have to wait a season or two (if not a couple of years) for another series to come out to pick up where they left off. It makes the viewer/reader just THAT much more excited when it is released again. Plus, I get it. You have a lot of real life shit to attend to and this can't be the sole focus of your day to day living. But you are right, you have made such an improvement and it IS noticeable. Not that I can speak for everyone else but your layout, form, and skills in bringing together a flowing story have all increased in so much quality ten-fold.
