I decided to try my hand at species creation, so here's what I came up with.

Thanguar/Thanguari
-They are a fishing/hunting people, they tend to dwell near rivers in the midst of jungles or deciduous forests. There are some high-mountain types, but there are few tribes in those regions.

-Their society can be considered neither a matriarchal one or patriarchal...rather, they decide on worth based on skill. Whether that be through knowledge or apparent skills in crafting, hunting, etc. They tend to choose their leaders and elders based on popularity in conjunction with sexual virility as well as whether or not they are well-rounded in their abilities.

-Sexual dimorphism is very great between male and female Thanguari; the females are very tall, muscular, have 4 arms, and have more muted coat coloration. The males are more diminutive with bright, vibrant colors and 2 arms.

-In addition to being skilled fishermen, their physiology has adapted to make them skilled tree-climbers (note the slothlike claws on the females.). They are just as comfortable sleeping in trees as they are lying in beds on the ground.

I have yet to fully expand on what both sexes look like, but I'd be able to accommodate people with words until I get it all figured out.
