Birthday
Gift from Zorro Re, thanks again to him for it !
How fun is a birthday if no-one shows up ?
The pic is sad and it is meant to be that way. That the feeling my birthday express to me. I feel getting old but going nowhere in life. I have little friends, and even less closer ones. My family see my birthday as a chore contrary to my brother's, and as such November (my birthday is 11/11) and December are depressing periods for me. This year has been better overall, unexpectedly, as I ordered a sad pic because I had three weeks of really big depression just before.

Loupy... I know that we don't know each other very well, but this is just too sad. I understand life can be hard, I do. But why try making yourself feel bad? I mean, sure you may not have many friends, but it's not the quantity of friends, it's the quality. And I don't care how many you have, you just made another. *Hugs* Late Happy birthday. :3
oh and here is a cute and news interview i think we'll all love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz5TGN7eUcM
I have attempted to get, and worked, many jobs. My main problem is my social relations with my coworkers who make it difficult to work for the same place a long time, and those same social problems that make getting a job (damned interviews) really difficult. It is because of a mental illness http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5448551/
Fascinating, and something i can relate to a great deal. While never diagnosed, that pretty much suits me to a T. In any event, have you considered a job where you need no co-workers? Personally, in the past eleven years or so, i've been doing security work. Sit in a box at midnight, let people through a gate, go back to playing video games until the next person. No co-workers, no issues.
Starting at the beginning of '14, I got a job dealing with water for the local government. I run a water plant overnight and on weekends, having only one shift a week where I am required to work with people. Perhaps look into some of the 'lesser considered' jobs where midnight shifts are available(in a skilled trade of course). You need to give up on the expectation of a social life, but for guys like us, that's not a problem, is it?

One of my best job ever I didn't had co-workers, but I cannot work nights : among my symptoms are recurring nightmares and I need sleep medicine, and as soon as I try to stay up past midnight it get really complicated. I can do a couple of nights at best. I have aimed for jobs without co-workers but I'm in no position to refuse a job anymore so I take what come my way and it's only temporary jobs so far. For security it requires a degree I do not have.
Usually working midnights is a transition you adapt to, but very well. And what type of degree do you need to provide basic unarmed security, I.E. a "rent-a-cop"?
In any event, my personal advice is to look into some skilled labor positions, check with your local government listing to see what is available to get a better idea, since municipal positions are always in demand anywhere you go, and usually don't require co-workers after a period of time.

The doctor suggested I avoid working nights. I have for a while and it was hard for me. For rent-a-cop there is a small degree in France, security training. I am supposed to have some support to find a job from the government but they are overworked and haven't had time to take me in yet.
I see. Well, if not nights, afternoons then. Most 24/7 places have either 3 or 4 shifts a day, ranging from 6 to 8 hours. While nights are preferable to myself, afternoons work better for others. I often throw out my own profession to others, perhaps take a peek at the requirements for a water treatment operator. Lonely job, good pay and always in demand, since everybody on earth requires clean water.
If you can balance the PH of your home pool, you can do this position.

It was just an example, as my job primarily consists of adding chlorine to a water supply and checking on the status of flows and pumps, all of which is done via computer. It just needs a human there to make sure nothing is on fire.
But yes, take a peek at the requirements. Here in the US it takes two long distance courses and a state test to complete, as well as a year of on the job training. But, it's a job that'll always be around, and the options once you have the license are quite extensive. Food and drink factories require someone with the license due to regulations, private facilities, government facilities, all sorts of places require clean water.

I'll admit, there is something that really hits me here. It's just the image of something that is starkly SUPPOSED to be happy, and by all extensions should, but then having it presented as sad. It has more impact that say, a picture of a sad fur just holding a single birthday cupcake with a party hat. It's the fact that everything in the background shows it should be happy, from the balloons, the crown, the text hangers and even the bib and colorful furniture, put in contrast to someone who seems to honestly feel heartbroken in the midst of it. Drives the point home.
Life can be sad sometimes, yet we must learn to live with it. Strugling to get better tomorrow (or at least not worst than yesterday).
Number of friends does not matter mostly (its better to have less but true, than many but false).
So instead of wishing you happy b-day, i wish you better year, good opportunities and so on.
PS: Sad that your family dont treat yours b-day as they should.
